I wore it to work yesterday and smelled it all day. A woman came up to me and told me I smelled so good! I smelled the rose. A fresh green rose. It works beautifully for me. Perfect for a sultry rainy day 60 to 70 degrees.
This is probably their best scent. I’m in love. It’s not overpowering where you can only appreciate it after it has been sprayed on for awhile. But it also does get better with time like their other ones

I tried it at Macy’s and it smelled like a common designer fruity floral but was surprised how much l liked the dry down. It’s a safe mass appealing scent without a strong personality which can be a good thing.
I love idole. It's a great signature scent because of how feminine it is. It can be put in the same basket with Chloe perfumes.

I love this perfume so much. It got so many compliments. I wear everyday and last almost 6 hours . The whole bottle Last me almost a year.
You can order stands and cases for the bottle. My top was broken as well but they had no problem replacing my top and they threw in a free iridescent case which is beautiful. I found this perfume to be a fresh, floral, slightly musky chypre. Very feminine, very lovely. But yes very fragile bottles for sure.

I loved the bottle from the first time I saw it... it actually makd me go and try it without a single hesitation. Really love the perfume as well.
I LOVE this scent! To me it smells like a luxurious and super feminine body wash (and Lowkey it reminds me of a conditioner I have) it doesn’t smell like a cheap bath and body works body wash and I love it. There’s kind of a sharpness to it that I smell when I first spray it but it dies down after a couple of minutes. I do wish it was more vanilla-y or creamier and softer and I heard that the intense version is more like that so I might get a sample of that one to try it out.
I'm a fan of Inrense Cafe and always wished it had a bit more of a coffee kick to it, so I'm looking forward to trying this one. Enjoyed the review!
Maybe it's me, but even if I've seen mixed reviews about it I still love it. I've tested it on my skin and it has great longevity. Fore sure it doesn't have the greatest projection but it leaves a very feminine clean sillage in a subtle way. Perfect for spring and winter. I 'v been looking for a light perfume that wouldn't have very predominant either citrucy or fruity notes in it and this was a revelation! My question is : do we always need our perfume to be smelled from a distance ?

I love this scent! Fruity and floral without being sweet.. which I appreciate, Le Vie la Belle is too sweet although I absolutely I love it on others . This is a great alternative, lasted all day

Actually, it reminds me of an LVEB flanker LOL. It smells like a mixture of LVEB and its various flankers, especially the En Rose version, just not as sweet or with patchouli (thank goodness). It's muskier and 'drier' than most fragrance releases, but smells nice in an office-appropriate way.
I think I would love this perfume for Traveling 🧳 It would be easier to put it in your travel tote bag 💼 and want take up a lot of space. I love ❤️ that idea.

I'm super excited to try this perfume
On my skin all I get is a rose soap with musk. I call this a comfort scent anyway and well honestly would opt for the 25ml bottle instead of the bigger bottle but that's just me.

I really like this fragrance! It has a kind of rosy and floral smell to me and I really like that the smell just doesn't fade away and it kind of changes. it's a simple fragrance overall but i like it cause i think it is suitable for everywhere. in general I really like it and don't regret buying it. and i would recommend it to people who like simple rosy scents

I love the fragrance! I just purchased it today, however, I’m nervous about the shape of the bottle. 🥺 I’m going to try my best not to drop it. I know it will shatter because it so very thin. #careful

The rose in it gives me a light powdery scent.
I seen a gift set that came with the big bottle a nice size sample travel bottle with a cell phone type case that the bottle fits in
If you place the bottle kinda side ways, it will stand but if you accidentally bump into your table or wherever it's placed on, it will obviously fall since the bottle is very thin

I don't like thin glass. I broke a very expensive perfume one time, oh golly they were like light bulb glass. Very fragile. Thin glass no good. I would buy some small empty perfume bottles either spray or roller from amazon or ebay's and pump perfume in it. That way your thin bottles is safe and put away.
You can buy a stand for this bottle from lancomecom also if you’re worried about it breaking, decant it into one of those little travel Atomisers then you don’t need to carry the whole thing around with you, keep it safe in your house. Easy!
It seems silly to me that I'd have to spend more money to buy a holder for my perfume. I decant many of my perfumes but as I mentioned I passed this on to my daughter. Just didnt love it enough.
It sounds like it probably smells a lot like their other fragrances. They need to come up with something very new

@@LolaScents There isn't, this is a new release. Not sure what the OP is talking about, but it's not Idole. I think he's thinking of Armani Idole or Guerlain Idylle, which has a number of flankers, but Lancome Idole is new with no flankers yet (I anticipate one coming around Christmas LOL).

I've only done a video about Roses Berberanza and I didnt care for it. The only ones I like are Oud Bouquet and Iris Dragees
Just bought this perfume. Was supposed to get la vie eat Belle and end up with this. It's a pleasant smell, it's fresh and later on the rose scent came in. Overall, it's a femine and fresh. My 8 yo daughter love it😄

@@AlpheaMariae LVEB is the mother of fruitchoulis (to me lol) and it smells like sweet praline and (in my opinion) too much patchouli, giving it that classic sweet/earthy scent DNA that defines the fruitchouli genre. Idole actually smells close to LVEB En Rose, but there is no patchouli (at least not to me, some people claim to smell it, but I'm hypersensitive to that note and I don't get any at all on my skin, thank goodness) and the sweetness is dialed way back. This is a polite, office-friendly rose-gold scent with a very nice dry down (at least, on me it's nice). Didn't fall apart into anything irritating or synthetic, which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended for those who work in the healthcare industry where fragrances are discouraged because this isn't loud, abrasive or offensive at all--smells like a clean rose-musk shower gel, honestly.
Lasted just 2-3 hours on my (dry) skin with almost zero sillage 😞 Overall, it is a rather generic fruity floral, I think, so I will have to pass on Idole. I do love the bottle - perfect for handbags, but I can see how it can easily slip out of your hands and break. Thanks for your review 💐
I agree. This didn't last well on me. It smelt great when I sprayed it, but then I don't think anyone would smell it unless they actually sniffed my clothes or skin. I was disappointed with longevity.
They told me at the Lancôme counter that it comes with a holder so it can stand up.

The bottle is sleek and pretty but the scent is very average and will please those who like all recent designer feminine releases and probably upset those who are looking for more than a lovely floral shower gel scent.
You can buy a stand with it. I love this perfume but the bottle, as you said, is not practical & the price is not practical either for the amount of product.
I really wanted to like it. But it's a common fragrance, nothing I haven't smelled before. No personality at all 😔

Brandi Erin it is not that fragile actually, it is meant to lay down on your vanity as a display to remind you to think outside of the box.. they will be selling protective cases, a stand too.

This perfume is not good for young female it's good for mature female over 35 years of age. I use this perfume and get a lot of compliments. I am 41. My vry favorite
I have a tester. Does anyone else suffer from it not being long lasting?!
I bought one from Ulta and it lasts around 8 hours on my very dry skin with no lotion on it. Now, the projection is not strong from the two sprays on each arm that I did, but it's kind of a 'sneaky' scent. I thought it was gone within 30 minutes, but about two hours later, my mom smelled it on me and complimented me on how nice it smelled. So, projection is not too bad, but still rather soft and I did grow anosmic to it rather quickly. Maybe spraying more than twice would solve that, but I'm not a heavy sprayer by nature and that's a hard habit to break for me.
I really like Lancome perfumes, my first love was Midnight Rose (Emma Watson). But the best one in the whole world is definitely La vie est Belle (Julia Roberts). I just tried a sample of IDOLE I got from Douglas. I can't even describe it... Horrible perfume! It felt on my skin like those cheap ones that only very old ladies use. I put it on my skin and smell it - "well, OK, not my favourite but not that bad" was my first thought. But - just a few seconds later... Disgusting :D I don't know if it is just because of my skin, if this doesn't suit me... But the smell is really horrible. I let my Mum smell it and she didn't like it either. So I went to wash my wrist and... it didn't come off! :D So I used detergent, I was cleaning my hand for like two minutes and... The smell is still not gone. It is less intensive but I can still smell it. So if you are looking for a very long-lasting perfume that survives even your bathing and you don't care about the smell - THIS ONE is just for you, LOL.
Yes. Very very tenacious and to me just not special. I didnt have the bad reaction to it like you lol but I feel they had a chance to make something different but decided to go boring and safe.
