It might have been last episode that you mentioned your R and C sometimes dont work...although it may be your keyboard I just discovered what I think might be a bug in regards to Power Surge and the whip. If you try casting power surge when your mouse cursor is "further than the sweet spot" then it wont cast, and since your always trying to sweetspot whips, this leaves your cursor always at or almost at the "casting limit of Surge". The game I feel recognizes Power Surge as a spell cast on the ground only within range of the weapon you are using (to my understanding). A horrible mechanic and without Power Surge having a visual spell radius, this can be quite frustrating mid combat, especially with the whip. Just my two cents, hope it helps. (Now I always hover my cursor over my vampire when wanting to cast PS to ensure it doesnt fail)

that comment about needing 3k iron hits so hard; everything needs iron now. i’ve got a solo brutal playthrough where i decided to hate myself and turn up build costs and refine costs to double, so now smithy takes 64 ingots and each ingot is 30 ore. i have had to go to iron mine like 12 times and i barely even have silver weapons and i cannot image how much worse it’s gonna get
Yeah it's pretty terrible, especially on 1x. The most insane thing ever is major explosives. 6 reinforced planks per bomb, so 18 ingots per bomb, and you need tons of bombs.
