I have a possible idea! Game design (Not in the rude way) but think about it. If we are going to assume that the narrator and the developer are two different "entities". The developer intended that the warehouse fall and 3 balcony falls will kill Stanley, but they never expected an infinite hole, mind control facility fall, or Half Life 2 Stanley Parable fall to exist, because they are made by the Narrator, left in the game a long time ago (Or abiding by the game's rules like Portal has no fall damage), or is simply a bug that the Narrator put a bandage over. You could say that the museum ending is probably protected by the alternate Narrator, or have the excuse of the falls always breaking his legs, but not actually putting them on a path towards danger so the game cuts to black as Stanley can't walk or stand anymore without holding themselves up on a railing.
I honestly love the fact that the infinite hole is making fun about the fact that in the original Stanley Parable game Stanley has to fall a lot in order to get some of the endings. And despite how long the distance is he somehow manages to survive.
I never fell into the hole at all, I genuinely thought it was infinite and was worried it would force you to quit and restart on your own, and I didn't want to get all the way back to that point.
For context, The worlds deepest hole is located in Russia and is about 7km, So this guy found out how to dig the worlds deepest hold without his equipment melting to the heat of the crust.
I’m pretty sure this is assuming no drag. Finding terminal velocity for a human is pretty easy if they’re in the skydiving position, but I’m not sure data exists for a person standing perfectly vertical. That being said using the figure of 89m/s (skydiver, arms and legs tucked in) we get around 6km for the first hole
6:52 What the hell is that near the top right? Looks like it could be a doorway or something that the hole is scrolling past... is it possible to clip through the wall and explore outside of the hole?
is there a way to get back to this point if you have already been through there? i didnt do this ending when i was there and i want to go back and do it properly
yes i'm pretty sure you can go back to the door that says 'new content' again and go to the infinite hole. i'm not sure what causes the new content door to appear though
@@MystifyingMister To get the "New Content" door to show up, you have to either (on first boot up) say you've already played The Stanley Parable before, or if you say you've never played it before, you have to complete a few of the normal endings (3 or 4) first. Then, after experiencing the "Ultra Deluxe content" (the jump circle), the narrator calls you into a vent (which you can ignore if you want to play more of the normal endings). After the Memory Zone, the game restarts and the New Content door is labeled "New New Content". After that, the door returns to being #416 for a while, until you've unlocked the ability to see the epilogue content, after which point it comes back, and you can visit the Expo Hall again. I might have a few of these details incorrect, but this is the best I can remember it.
Is it a very, very deep hole? To be certain it is! It's an extremely deep hole! I don't want anyone to say that it isn't an astonishingly deep hole - it is! Is it infinite? Well, that sort depends on your definition of infinity. /ref
De hecho, cas van de pol trabajó en el apartado artístico del juego. Hay más de su trabajo una o dos veces más en el juego, si no me equivoco. (Sorry for the spanish but youtube has a traslator function now)
Isn't the end part literally intended to be "played" as button mashing, since your movement is disabled as you are stuck in third person? There is literally nothing you can do other than to press a bunch of buttons and be happy (Stanley = Player moment?) at all the comical / cool / weird ways the game changes. It's just a timer until The Narrator comes in and breaks you out of your daydream.
Odd how Stanley can handle all these huge falls, but the fall to the warehouse floor kills him.
Why did i just now realize that-
EXACTLY-
True
Or three falls from a balcony

Unless it's in the warehouse

you fall for 69 seconds total, that'd be 23.3 Km, it's an insanely deep hole

1:30-1:47 not the narrator arguing with stanley as if they were a divorced couple XD
when the whole hole going down sequence started I laughed my ass off for like 5 minutes straight
1st fall: 23.5 km
2nd fall: 2 km
3rd fall: 220 m
4th fall: About 1m
I love the diferent stiles of Stanley in this scene .i wish i can find all the artist
This for some reason was the funniest shit in the game to me idk why.
1:45 Stanley thinks to himself
“I- I don’t even speak, the hell you talking about?”

i am certain that this has to be cas van de pol

i love just how the ending is so damn dramatic

yeah i saw that. not sure what that was
I can't be the only one who reset after the narrator disappeared but before the music starts
i watched someone stream this specific ending in omoricord and it was weird but i am SOLD
Wait… OMORIcord?
This is a larger fall from the top of mount everest to the bottom of the mariana trench
The "toodle-pip" at the end killed me.
I did not realize this was here so now I cant go back :(
That’s a hole lot of fun
i dont think i have ever seen a hole fall before..
