  • DISCLAIMER!(You do not need to remove the complete dash as video shows to access speaker outputs. The outputs are accessible on a plug on the audio output module right behind the climate control. If all you need to do is access the audio portion, then removing the climate controls are all you need and you should have access to a square black plug which we will provide the wire color codes to)
    Front left +/- Blue - Gray/Brown
    Front right +/- Yellow/Orange - Green/Brown
    Rear Left +/- Gray/Violet - Brown/Green
    Rear Right +/- Green/Violet -Gray
    This schematic is for the non-amplified system.
    In this video we show you how to disassemble the front dash in order to access the radio brain and display in this all new Bronco Sasquatch edition. It is a lot more work than the sport model Bronco. If you have any questions feel free to leave it in the comment section.
    In the following video we are going to be doing a sound system upgrade consisting of
    -4 channel audison amp
    -mono block audison amp
    -hertz Cento pro front components
    -hertz 3.5 coaxial rears
    - 3 10s hertz subwoofers in a custom downfiring enclosure we are building
    Big upgrade from the factory sound quality.

    We would like to save you time if you are looking to reach the 4 speaker outputs only in order add an amplifier, then you can just remove the 2 7mm bolts holding in the climate control panel which needs to be removed and a square black plug will he available to reach right under a silver box. This will save a lot of unnecessary dismantling if that’s all that’s needed. But in case of future upgrades to screen replacement or radio brain failure, then complete process will be needed!

    First thing I'm doing when I get my Bronco, is a wrap color change. Second is figuring out how to cover that dashtop with some padding or maybe even rhino lining. Every Ford has a soft touch padded dash, not sure why the Bronco does not, other than keeping the cost down. Perhaps by the time I finally get mine, someone will have developed one in the aftermarket. Thanks for the video! Looks pretty easy to get apart.

    DIYer but very capable. Wondering what is underneath the portion of the dash next to the factor 4” driver locations? It sounds hollow from some taps. I want to put in a 3 way component system with woofers in the kick panel, mids in the factory 4” and then bore out the section of the dash for some 1” tweeters. Cross over will hide under the footwell.

    • @audiolux6009
      @audiolux6009  Před 3 lety +2

      I would highly recommend not trying a direct swap as generally the factory amp is most effective with the impedance and efficiency of the stock speakers. We would start off with the amplification first such as using a 8 channel DSP and taking all the signals from the factory amp, summing them into full range and then amplifying. Then we would recommend the Focals or other high end speaker setups. The tuning is crucial. K
