    The smaller Hassan back is a tear off card from a "Tripple Folder". The center panel was 2 cards wide, black and white image of an action shot and description on the back of the play/image. Left and right of the panel has a card like the one you have. 1912 T202

    The ball where you recognize Tony Perez, I saw Don Pavletich, who was a Cincinnati catcher until 1968. Perez was a rookie in 65, so the ball is dated somewhere between 65 and 68.

      That's exactly what all those Hassan cards are. They're 1/3 of the cards and not worth more that a couple bucks each.

  • @DansVintageBaseballPC
    @DansVintageBaseballPC Před 28 dny

    The Hassan cards are real, except that they came in “triple folders” so those have been cut. There was a player portrait on either side of an action shot. So those are the player portraits cut off a larger card.

    Nice find. Smaller are cut. Just search the one you have and you can find the ones from each side or just the other 2. I have several cut and graded and then some complete that are graded as well.
    Get the baseballs authenticated along with the autos if you’re going to sell. With so many repos these days authentication will help you now and later even if sell or keep

    • @myruelsb1151
      @myruelsb1151 Před měsícem +1

      He will have more into authentication and shipping back and forth and what he paid then what he can sell for. It's all common stuff you can buy at any Card Sale conventions that happen all the time. That's why these cards where there, if the big money guys and star are missing, somone already picked out the sellable and valuable stuff and left whats hard to sell. Pete Rose sings soooooo much stuff that's why he has so many signatures of him. Cool finding it, but over shot on price, especially with how much time and effort it's going to take to sell it. People don't want the no name players and commons, unfortunately, it is what it is.

    • @slideloaders
      @slideloaders  Před měsícem

      @@slideloaders I'm just going to be totally honest with you, this was not a great purchase. You obviously don't know much about this stuff and you let your excitement take over. The signed balls aren't worth the price of authentication. No one wants a fading Griffey Jr. auto on a knockoff ball. For the boxes of 60s and 70s cards put them into lots of 100 cards each to sell. One of the T206 cards is hall of famer Miller Huggins, but it's an authentic grade. The rest are all commons. After selling fees you'll be lucky to break even.

    The multi-signed ball has a few readily identifiable signatures on it of players that were on the 1966 Reds roster like Bill McCool and Art Shamsky. I don’t believe it’s team signed though as there’s too many I don’t recognize. I think rather it’s MLB players with a Reds emphasis due to where the owner lived.
    Edit: it probably is a ‘65 Reds team ball. The signature on the sweet spot is Dick Sisler the manager on the ‘65 team.

    What a find, congratulations! The pins include Sweet Caporal from the tobacco era 1909-1911. The flat looking pin is a Sweet Caporal disc. I also saw that you one of the framed pins is a Cracker Jack from around 1930. The Colgan Chips disc is from around 1909 also. These chips were sold in a round package with mints and as you can see were cut very thin.
