      I played around with the G1 a bit, but haven't used the Gen 2.

    If you are testing inside should you have a fan on you?

      The benefit of this type of device is that you don't have to do one "test." You can assess in multiple conditions and see the differences. If I planned on doing races that were roughly 70 degrees and benign humidity, I'd wear the unit a fair bit with a fan on. Since all of my early season races will likely be hot and/or humid, I need to introduce more heat load to my rides. I don't think I've used a fan on the trainer yet this year.
