Sucks the industry is filled with toxicity, vapidity, sexism, racism, and pedophilia.
In my opinion, it's the greatest art form in history. It combines every other art into something you experience, not just view from a gallery.
Everytime I see a movie montage with this song I cry. I cry not because it is sad, but because the song is so beautiful and it reminds me that there are so many things to live for.

I think the reason it goes with everything is because rather than feeling as though it goes with any specific scene, the song fits human creativity and ingenuity. It also has an emotional yet powerful feeling due to the chord progression. It is a very strong song, and it beautifully highlights how much creativity and imagination humanity is capable of, while recognizing the darkness that exists due to how that same imagination and creativity has been used for evil.
Cinema is a wonderful pair to this, as cinema is one of the best ways of telling stories from creative minds through modern technology.
