@@gegensw4500 I mean roche got the prize in the end... also why are you such a roche hater he saves your life in the beginning of the game and even saves your life in chapter 2 if you go with iorveth. he's a real one. yeah he kills people and isn't a "good" person but neither is dethmold or iorveth or really anyone in the witcher besides the main characters. That's the witcher for ya
There’s basically only one path out of four or five where he lives. Besides, given the defeat of Kaedwen, Radovid’s hatred of mages, and his representation of the old regime, its highly likely Radovid killed him. Also he was a detested guy. Once Henselt was dead wouldn’t surprise me if his own people killed him

Shame more characters from this game weren’t in Witcher 3. Great game, great scope... but sometimes I wish they had taken a wee longer in development to add more content and iron out some of the kinks.
They spent a lot of time on development. The disappointing truth is they didn't intend to have any significant changes or character returns based on choices in Witcher 2. I still remember how livid I was when Radovid said to me (about Phillipa) "I gouged her eyes out you know?" I WAS THERE! I genuinely yelled that :p
Agent Z46 I believe Iorveth was intended to be in the game but was cut. Not 100% on that but I would have liked to see him again, specially cause it would have given a Scoiatel-related quest
Agent Z46 actually, if they had been able to include Iorveth your choices of who you sided with could have been explored more in this game. Just nitpicking at this point tho, the game is amazing as is. I’m just being a greedy swine
@@joshie6213 I just don't think they were interested in having choices from TW2 have any weight. Doesn't matter if Stennis is alive, Henselt etc... Doesn't matter who has Anniese (I think that's her name, Foltests daughter) and doesn't matter if you saved Sakia. The only meaningful thing I can think of is Letho. That's the only choice that has any noticeable difference.
amin zekul this video is eight years old. Did even the term Incel exist then? Also cuck is a term if someone uses it it shows there lack of character and discredits their own words
I think the writing of the dialogue and even their way of talking was much better and interesting in 2. A lot of the dialogue in 3 borders on cheesy, it just doesn't sound as natural. Even 1 had wittier dialogue despite the horrible voice acting.
Better combat , you feel like a swordmaster , in Witcher 3 all Is pressing Quick Attack So Witcher 2 wins in gameplay , dialogue (lesbomancy) and story Witcher 3 wins overall cause open world, real cool view and cities as Novigrad etc But after you finish It , feel like an empty with random mobs
Not my Geralt xD, he's just a sorcerer, one who isn't as skilled and as knowledgeable as Philippa Eilhart, who was responsible for just... you know... saving the entirety of the northern realms xD
if you choose iorveth path dethmold will almost kill geralt and if it werent for saskia... as i remember dethmold is a skilled mage and he is the best student of Ban Ard i mean they are equal. Also Aretuza is better than Ban Ard thats why almost every sorceress is better than male mages from Ban Ard but there are exceptions like Vilgefortz and he is stronger than Phillipa and every wizard and sorceress put together and i dont think that policy makes mages more skilled. Btw in my playthrough Dethmold almost killed Roche. Dijikstra, Isengrim, Dethmold, Henselt are my fav characters from the books. I liked Henselt and Dethmold in the game but i like Saskia and Iorveth more. Also Azar Javed is stronger than Geralt he just does make the same mistake as Vilgefortz does in the books.
Oh Dethmold was just lucky in the mines, I mean, Roche can rip his balls off but Geralt can't xD ? And well, sure, Dethmold is skilled. But again, he didn't save the whole north xD !
dethmold wasnt lucky. he defeated him in a fair fight (1vs1) without tricks then gave his soliders an order to finish geralt then saskia used her dragon form, killed soliders with fire and then dethmold escaped. roche can rip his balls only if geralt will side with him and in that case dethmold isnt ready for his fight and just relaxed. if you save triss you will meet our beaten roche.. then roche tells geralt that dethmold kicked his ass but he was lucky to catch a girl and escape. also it is geralt who was lucky because of saskia in the mines not dethmold. I just mean any skilled mage is stronger than witchers but if you have tons of dimeritium bombs you will be able to kill the strongest wizard xD. If a solider used it against a mage he will kill him immediately with his sword.
The voice actor of Dethmold is brilliant. He has a very entertaining way of talking.
He's sooooo creepy. Unhinged creeper in game, but a very well written character.
THOSE AREN'T POTS! THEY'RE SILVER VASES OF NAZIAH! LOL
Vernon Roach: Hold my beer.
Roche
“You killed six men? You and your kind should be isolated!”
That one always stuck with me
What sort of a sick bastard just takes one bite out of an apple and then throws it away??!!
lol the way he felt insulted over the pots.
Link should have paid him a visit.
The best Dethmold moment was when Roche castrates him.
the best dethmold moment was when roche tells geralt that dethmold almost killed him and escaped.
And make him eat his own balls

The writing in witcher 3 is for children, it doesnt have the complex and well written characters of w2
