- This is a short vid I took after our Lake Houston Crappie Tourney Weigh-in at BJ's Marina. Although this clean-up was well needed some of the tree's located near the shores edge in deeper water was great structure for the lakes fish, Crappie in particular. The lake is in poor condition as far as water clarity with the recent rains and all the clean-up going on in the lake and incoming West and East Forks of the rivers. I estimate there were 15 to 20 barges on the lake involved in the clean-up and a steady line of big rigs to haul the debris off. The lake will not only be a lot safer with this clean-up it will be more beautiful than before Harvey. I used a DJI Spark that I use in some of my Crappie fishing vids to make this vid. The editing software I use is Wondershare Filmora.
That segment was really refreshing hometeam!! I enjoyed that...I love heavy equipment.
Yes the lake and rivers are looking a lot better however a lot of that debris {structure} was in decent water depths and some of the guys were catching some good crappie out of them. Thanks for the strong support Brother. I hope you and the family are well.
Hello my friend. Nice here again watching your nice Video.
I wish you have a nice Sunday👍👍
LIFE and ADVENTURE THANKS for the support, glad you enjoy the vids.....
Wow, that's a lot of trees! Big project to get all that cleaned up. Good work capturing it!
Casual Carolina Fishing Uumm going to try'n get footage of where they are dumping this stuff, I heard it was piles as big as a couple football fields.... THANKS for watching and commenting
Well there goes some of the great crappie holes. The river and like will totally look and fish different from now on. Great work S.K. Very crisp and clear images from the drone. Keep up the great work.
Keep'em coming too us. 👍💯👊😎
Leslie Thomas Yes sir, more of those crappie are coming to those condos I have addresses for so once all this mud settles it's gonna be on..... THANKS for the support Brother.....
Nice to see them doing this we have mountains of debri's just piling up in our lagoons and rivers sadly , Have a great new week !
Its looking a lot better, cant wait until they are done and things settle back down. Thanks for watching and commenting...

Musky Hans It was needed badly.... ..THANKS for watching and commenting...
Thanks!!
Yardley Kennedy Thanks for watching and commenting...
Hey SK, did they have to lower the level of the lake? The lake I fish for crappie was lowered 15 feet for silt removal at the Dam! It didnt hurt anything, but it limited the lake to one boat ramp! Cool drone footage my man!
Yes they lowered the lake level the previous week due to that depression that was predicted to drop several inches of rain, we only got about two inches but with the runoff and the lake above Houston (Conroe) releasing water it muddied the lake and with them digging all that crap up muddied the water even more. As you can see in the vid the water looks like chocolate milk and it’s like that in several areas....It affected the fish tremendously here....yeah getting a little more comfy using the drone.....THANKS for watching and commenting....
Cool seeing them do that!
I can’t wait until they are done and everything gets back to normal.....THANKS for the support Brother....
Very nice aerial footage. I need to practice with mine. Lol
Crappie Craze They are a task to get in the air when try'n to win a crappie tourney but they are fun and make good footage.... THANKS for watching and commenting.....
Great camera work man.
WestPointLake Willy That little Spark has a decent camera on it.... THANKS for watching and commenting ....
SK:
Way to use that drone to document the clean-up. I'm looking at that and thinking "with your crappie cover moving, you're going to have to find new brushes" :)
Brother there was a lot of people fishing & catching from all those trees along the banks however there's something in my head that prevents me from fishing structure that's visible above water....LOL
It kills my confidence so I always passed all that stuff up. There's just as much below the water as there was above so they only got one of my spots so far....Thanks for watching and commenting....
Well good point there. When the cover shows, everybody and their brother has fished it twice before I get there.
Great shot!!! getting more comfortable with the drone? A lot of down trees being removed 😞😞... nevertheless keep it coming SK..💥💥💥
i.am.remy Yeah finally putting it over water with confidence.... there's a lot of trees that got washed into the lake since we're in good areas and idgets not so but they are taking it all.... THANKS for watching and commenting...
Nice video friend
vanitha's kitchen THANKS for watching and commenting.... I'll check out some of your cooking vids soon....
Although they probably have the coolest job ever being on lake I bet that has hurt the bit some love the footage bro
Crappie Fishing with nottheexpert88 Yes it was a tough bite but 1st place & 2nd place weights in the tourney were both over 8lbs so the fish still fed. THANKS for watching and commenting....
beautiful lake.. after raining?

Well done video! What is the drone you are using?? I have a Mavic Pro and it’s constantly glitching and falling off line! Drives me nuts!!
