Subaru WRX Autocross at WICKED BIG MEET | Event Recap & Parts Showcase

- Our team headed out to @SubieEvents Wicked Big Meet in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. The drive from our shop to the event allowed us to test prototype parts on our 2022 Subaru WRX. We also competed in the WBM autocross event, finishing 3rd, to further collect research for our engineering team back in Illinois.
Currently available and unreleased AMS Performance Subaru parts were on display at our booth, driving a good amount of engagement from car meet-goers.

Damn all those prototype parts look awesome! All the welds look beautiful and symmetrical! Looks like they know what they are doing over there at AMS Performance! Major props to the fabricator who welded those intercooler pipes, I'd pay $150 an hour for those welds! Great job you guys!

Does Subie really have this much of a following? Guess so. Also, this is like a national draw event. Subie literally has like one enthusiast model. One. For an entire brand. Think Rally really did wonders for them as well. Now they’re best known for like Lesbians with fanny packs.
You must not get out in the world much
One model? They have the Impreza WRX or STi. They have the Forester XT. They have the Legacy with a turbo or an H6. And then they have the BRZ. That’s at least four “enthusiast” models.
There was about 8000 subarus there. Every model you can imagine. Slammed wrxs, lifted crosstreks, camper build foresters, turbo legacy. It's incredible to see in person.
