    Does this video take into account the 2019 update of the GINA?

      Looks like it doesn't. In step 1 SABA is not recommended anymore due to the increased risk of side effects. The current recommendation for Step 1 is inhaled corticosteroid combined with a long-acting beta-agonist (formoterol) as needed.

      @@geraldballa2620 in Harrison principle of internal medicibe 20tg edition, u can use SABA or LABA + ICS, it doesnt recommends antimuscarnic.

    I don't know if I have asthma, but I have a modern coughing fit all night long.
    Since then it's been a good 15 years and now I feel that even at rest I feel stuffy and short of breath.
    I have all the symptoms of asthma now except cough because I don't cough now.

      Are you talking theoretically or practically?

      Theoretically, you would do pulmonary function test, and Antigen skin test.
      Clinically, there is no need to. Just go by history, physical exam, and the criteria from the table that was shown in the video.

      @@MedicosisPerfectionalis so I was diagnosed with bronchial asthma about 5 days ago. I've been taking medications plus an inhaler. Doc says it may take 6 weeks or more. It sucks bc once I start coughing I cant stop
