  • Gameplay starts at 00:27. Best viewed in 60 fps (only available on HTML5 player). This was played using an emulated Wii remote. While this game normally runs at 30fps, I used a code to make it run at 60.

Wow, that's how quickly the game can be beaten.

Ah yes, this game, combined with Ninjabread Man, Anubis II and Trixie in Toyland, makes up the unholy trinity of DDI 3D platformers...

This is not even that bad. You want a REAL DDI stinker, look up PS2 "An American Tail" (yes, based on the cartoon movie). It's somehow much worse, thought it's much more ambitious.

I must've been the only child with find memories of this game. Probably because of the character model

There are actually four. Anubis II, Ninjabread Man, this one and Trixie in Toyland.

Literally exact same gameplay (albeit differently), with re-skin, same goal with collecting item to open the portal, and no ending, or explain their goal.
That's a true definition of "lazy writing"

Data Design Interactive. The new LJN (but unlike LJN, Data Design actually made these games). They make God-awful game after God-awful game by copying them and their gameplay and even their freaking menus and reskinning them!!! Real creative, guys, real creative!

Is this literally the same levels as Trixie in Toyland, but with different graphics?

That game, along with Ninjabread Man, Anubis II and this one, all have basically the same tutorial stages, but the level layout is different for the rest of the stages. The games all feel like clones of each other, but they're not identical.

To think... This game would have been part of Zool 3.

I'm convinced this game was part of the same Zool prototype. Compare the way this game looks with level 2 of the SNES Zool game...cymbal enemies, speakers and remotes as decoration, CDs everywhere...
