I'm so excited to finally share the kitchen makeover Yon and I did some months ago. I've been having a hard time describing this aesthetic that I gravitate towards and I think that "lived-in" is truly the best way to describe it. I love it when things around me feel like they've been lived in and previously loved. so this was my attempt to bring a little bit of that into our kitchen space without going too crazy with the changes.

ALIA! love the addition of the checkered tiles:) can i recommend.. if it still gives u enough space to move around the kitchen/dining area.. to move your table/chairs to the center of the little dining area and hang a light fixture above? feel like it would really finish off the space nicely

I’m a little nervous about the peel and stick flooring, as many creators I’ve seen that have used it for rentals had a very hard time getting the adhesive off the floor. It looks super cute though and i love the video, just the first thing that came to mind 😅

I have been looking for straight black and white checkered peel and stick tiles for AGES and haven’t found any at all!! They always have a marble texture one them, or are charcoals and greys instead of black, etc. May I ask where you got those please? Or at least the brand so that I can order them for myself?
