I visited Cornwall a few years ago, and it looked just like in the show. Gorgeous! I got to see a lot of the places where they filmed. It was fabulous.
The best dialogue was spoken by Francis, the scene with Elizabeth before going to Bodmin for the trial, the failed suicide scene with Dwight, and his conversation with Demelza shortly before he died. Beautifully acted, Kyle.
I have watched Poldark on Netflix 20 times, I never saw it on TV but I am an addict and can't get enough of it, I love it so much and I hope it comes back again, sadly too many actors were killed off who I would love to come back, but would be lovely to see the characters now older. Listening to Francis speak English and then seeing this, the US accent is so wierd lol. My late mum loved the old Poldark from the 70's, I was young, now Im loving it in my time. As long as Netflix keep it on I'll keep watching and love all the characters ❤️❤️
Heida, we have so enjoyed your chats! Thanks for taking the time to do these for we crazed Poldark fans. All of you became like family to us and we do miss you so much. Kyle did a beautiful performance of Francis. All the actors portrayed the characters perfectly. Miss you!
This Jamaican from TO. Canada was hooked to this TV series. I won't even begin to mention the memorable moments of this show but I want to thank the cast of Poldark for taking me through a whirlwind of emotions. Elizabeth you were always a vision of loveliness and 'I love the way you lie'. Francis, I knew I could love you, even for a short while, after the revelation in the card game but I love to hate you and George, which means that your acting was beautifully executed and 'spot on'. At one point I thought that Francis and George and something going. ??? being so constantly led. Lol.
It's all about the glances during the first season Christmas party, Elizabeth at the harp, Demelza singing , Ross standing next to Francis. The way Francis and Liz stare at ea. other. so much communication, not a word spoken... That scene in general, it seems as if the actors were really in awe of ea. other, appreciating ea. others craft.
Francis, why the hell didn't you learn to swim? I cried when that happened, Francis has just discovered his real person inside, and the talk he had with Demelza, beautiful. After that, I kept saying ' I miss Francis". :)-- the scene where Elizabeth has the talk with Francis about accepting his proposal. The changes on his face from expecting a 'no' and then the overwhelming joy when she said ' I can't wait to be your wife". Also, when he told George exactly what he thought of him, it was such a 'YES!" moment.
I don't think many Poldark viewers realized that Kyle is an American. I thought he was British. Evidently he had what the show wanted and was cast in the role of Francis.
@@jimhayes1432 she has a great RP English accent on the show. But her actual accent is mixed and fluctuating; with twinges of English RP, Icelandic and American.
This is hilarious to me because I had no idea this actor was American- so great job to him- but as an American it's funny to see how polar opposite and really American he is. So crazy interesting to me. And his tone of voice is so different here- sounds lower vs the show. And opposite of Aidan/Ross who had a lower tone on the show vs off. Anyways, well done, Kyle Soller. 😊

Totally. Really amazing actor. We cried in our household when he drowned in the mine.

Kyle is such an emotional guy. Passionate actor. Love how Heida is speaking in her natural accent with Kyle, not the English one.
Such a nice chat. Heida and Kyle seem like really lovely people. Thanks for uploading this.
Just loved these guys and they portrayed their characters so beautifully and believably xx

Heida!! Quit playing with the technology!! LOL
I always loved Francis even when he wasn’t lovable.

And Heidi is Icelandic ...
@@thinkhaven7902Yes she is Icelandic, and seems to have, absolutely no trace of an Icelandic accent. Unless she prefers not to use it.
