ima give you mad tips since i been playing this since last christmas
You will need to buy bullets for your gun everytime you buy a new one
there are stashes in some locations such as the laundromat, and in houses, do NOT leave without put your stuff in there, you will lose it, and you will need to get it all over again
your energy bar is the BLUE bar, not the white one, the white one is your stamina
grinding is slightly hard but easier is you are a civ, buy the pink packs and seeds from the gunstore and grow them in a rented apartment, you can find these through out the map, i would mostly recommend buying seeds and growing them since they make better packs than the pink ones
if your car ever gets stuck in a pole, or a gate, hold W and jump out while still holding W, it'll make the car kind of just slip out
To switch to different gears when driving, like forward, and backwards, it is Q and E, and F to turn off the engine
Thats all you really need to know, i would love to see you play this game more.
