    I like the way you teach, Joyce. The explanation is so details. You speak slowly and clearly. Make it easy to understand. I have finished your lesson 1 to 39 (day 1 to 39). I wonder if you had lesson 40 and so on. For me it is easier if you tittle your lesson with day number, so it is easier to learn step by step , from the beginning than gradually to more complex material,, rather than jumping randomly to any lesson. 😂

    • @EverydayChinese
      @EverydayChinese  Před 3 lety +2

      Hi你好, 厕所 is the equivalent to toilet, and 洗手间&卫生间 means washroom and restroom. In mainland China, you can use these 3 words interchangeably and you will hear people use them according to their preference of speaking. I personally use 洗手间 more and it may sound a bit more polite to use 洗手间 or 卫生间 if you are looking for a washroom/toilet/restroom in a bit fancy and formal place, like in a hotel. Hope this helps:)

    Thanks

    • @EverydayChinese
      @EverydayChinese  Před 5 lety

      You want me to do this work? - 你[要]我做这种事儿?or 你[想让]我做这种事吗?Both are OK.
      But here 要 is for commands with imperative mood, while 想让 is more polite and modest.
      E.g.
      I want you to go with me!!! 我要你跟我一起去!!!(strongly command)
      I want you to go with me, please. 我想(让)你跟我一起去,可以吗?(in polite) and 让 can be omitted in most cases.
      Hope this will help you.
