Loved the mathematical analysis of burn rates. As soon as you mentioned rates, I thought of rates of change and you then you mentioned Part 3 to include Calculus. I heard you can use those rates of change to find min/max extremum. I was always intrigued with Calculus and Business/Finance and look forward to seeing Part 3.

The burn will stop at some point but reflections will continue.
At 25 trillion or they do their magic with a blockchain bridge and burn it down to 100 million.
@@real100talk5 they acknowledged they don’t have a number and they’re doing analysis on when to pull the plug. I’m sure they’re nowhere close to deciding on a number as there are too many variables associated at this time. Maybe they have an idea where it could happen but I don’t see how they’d be able to project it.

Hi Mark, I'm someone who did not excel at math until I hit my physics class in my junior year of high school. The reason up until that point was because teachers did not present ANY practical application for what was being learned, and as a person who had a hard enough time just focusing my attention, the concepts simply didn't "stick". My physics class changed that, as I had an amazing teacher who taught the equations as well as their real world applications. The light bulb turned on and I did pretty well. Your approach is very similar to that physics teacher. I kid you not, I used an acceleration formula to calculate the height of a bridge that I made a BASE jump off of in California a few years after graduating, which gave my teacher a raised eyebrow when I told him, but you get the idea. These concepts you are teaching are sinking in, even for people like me who often have to review the basics when tackling an equation for something like a coding project or a troubleshooting session. Why? Practical application. It's the real secret to comprehension, something that our current education system often misses.

We can't forget that the top wallets have trillions of tokens. They would have to sell for the burn to achieve such numbers I presume. Another question: is the increasing number of holders being considered right?

The burn wallet is eating up 41.7% of all reflections right now. Soon, it will have 999T (99.9%) tokens in it, unless the safemoon team decides to stop the burn & as long as the 24h volume is >$0. But, the price will have skyrocketed new levels never been seen before. The more the price goes up, more people will be dumping their tokens for $profit. Trust me, you're gonna be very very tempted to sell your 500M tokens at any price above $0.01 (thats >$5M profit -10% of course).
People WILL be selling like crazy, dumping tokens to exchange wallets. The price will be determined by the available tokens that can be bought, and if there's less of them available, they will sell at a ⬆️higher price.

I am curious about your thoughts modeling another possible scenario- boom and bust which seems to repeat in crypto and some of us have been through.
I could imagine a price drop of 80 - 90% as well as volumes dropping 80 - 90%. But, since the price dropped, there would still hopefully be a good amount of burn happening during this time, possibly over 3 - 4 years, priming this for the next boom cycle. If the math checks out, this would reassure holders to keep holding.

The only problem I see is that I’m pretty sure the devs said some of the exchanges aren’t contributing to the burn. And also they said they are going to eventually stop the burn but aren’t sure yet when. Besides that pretty solid info! Keep up the good work!

Thanks Mark, So because of reflections and fees, it is probably better to just hold through bearish market periods. It is hard to time the market's highs and lows, plus we lose 20% of our safemoon when trying to do it.

SO the big question then is... When does the price affect the burn rate in such a way that it would take decades to burn the tokens down? What happens to the burn rate at 0.001, 0.005 and 0.01 or do these prices become unattainable because the burn rate becomes so small it can't reach the levels to have a good market cap? There's got to be a sweet spot where the price and volume are optimal for a reasonable burn rate right???
