How this ship is manoeuvred is a master class in seamanship by all involved and shows how signalling was essential in the days before radio. These skills must be archived just in case??
Wow!... I was on the Waverley last week 5/07/2023 to Loch Fyne and nobody told me the Waverley could time travel to the future as it did to Milford on 17/09/2023. Just joking I see the typo should be 06. Great SS Waverley is a great experience that all should try. I have only been on it twice but enjoyed both occasions.
I just came home from Scotland, wish I had time to go on it on the Clyde. Maby next year.

They certainly did, I wondered at first what they where doing and eventually it started to turn.

That's because everyone it on deck when the ship departs, when you spread them out over 3 decks it looks more reasonable. Definitely enough live boats, I checked when i was on board ✔️
