- Speaking on whether summer game fest 2024 will have a dragon ball sparking zero trailer. We probably wont see dragon ball sparking zero at summer game fest 2024. There is always a chance though I dont think bandai namco wants to use summer game fest to promote an already anticipated game.

Bandai is confirmed to be at Summer Game Fest by Geoff himself so why wouldn’t they show their biggest release of the year?
Sparking will definitely be there I just think it’s a matter of what they show. Could be a big trailer, could be the standard sized trailer they’ve been giving us so far.

@@makaisaiyan Elden Ring would have been a big one but they dropped their trailer a few days ago, pretty much cementing SZ for the event. We're looking at an Fall release date and this event is the biggest event before that timeframe
@@makaisaiyan lmao if you ignore what I said sure I’d look stupid, but like I said Sparking Zero is, *without debate* their biggest release of 2024. Sure Little Nightmares 3 and/or Synduality could be there instead but then that begs the question why exclude Dragon Ball?
The game is still coming out in 5 months so I really don’t care about trailers anymore fr but I feel like this is completely rational reasoning and you just might be slightly pessimistic.

All fair points. I'm cool with which ever scerario that'll come our way.
Let's break this down just a bit more. E3 is officially no more and so Summer Game Fest tries to fill that gap. SGF is like our gaming super bowl if you will where that'll most likely have millions of people streaming live at the same time. Companies pay top dollar to advertise their products during that prine time slot and it would be a great opportunity for Bandai Namco to release the trailer there to not only attract fans of the beloved series but non Dragonball fans as well. Now of course Bandai Namco could certainly do their own thing and I'm inclined to believe they could very well give us another showcase. Maybe they'll eventually give us a showcase talking about the various game modes because we know squat about them.

Of course Bandai Namco could produce these trailers in house save their money and have these trailers being played at one of these events. Definitely a possibility.
Sgf doesnt even come close even geoff himself acknowledges this. He aims for something different. More people are excited for the game awards for the announcements then sgf. Sgf got criticized for the amount of indie titles showcased in the past.

@@makaisaiyan I'm talking more specifically towards Sparking Zero. There's a chance that it could appear at SGF, FGS (Furure Games Show), TGS (Tokyo Game Show), and Jump Festa all before ever hitting The Game Awards in December. The way The Game Awards last year was handle was absolutely atrocious and completely mismanaged. I'm saying for this year if the rumor that Sparking Zero comes out this October then we wouldn't need to count on The Game Awards.
But I get where you're coming from and SGF could change up the formula instead focusing solely on Indies. With Microsoft basically done with Gaming and Sony not releasing a new AAA title until next April 2025. I guess we'll see what SGF has cooking this year in announcements.
Hey Makai Saiyan, do you think they will release a trailer by the end of this month or are they are waiting for Summer Games Fest to release it because if the game comes out in October, then they could show us many characters and mechanics in a single trailer during that period.

That does make sense there a dragon ball sparking Zero was actually shown at the Xbox showcase It does show bandananco has not skipped the Xbox version of the game

Saw the video on his channel was funny as heck. Been looking forward to DBSZ I don't have a ps5 but do have xbox series x. Am aware a lot of people looking forward to DBSZ and PR for short, you and me as well for a long time grew up with it long ago when I was a kid tenkiachi 1,2, and 3 loved it best DBZ games back then even remember budokai as well but prefer to go all over the place seems more realistic instead of going left, right, sideways over and over lol😂
