About seasons:The first season was simply called "dragon ball." Dragon Ball Z is the second season. GT is a non-canonical sequel. Kay is a remake of Z. And Super takes place between the last and penultimate part of Z. (Sorry for google translator.)

What are the orange balls: Those are the Dragon Balls, considered as wish orbs. Once you collect all seven and put them into one place, it'll summon a dragon called Shenron, which will grant any wish you give him. (Only a wish that he can handle with his power.)
Seasons question: Each series of the Dragon Ball franchise has seasons, each series is split off into different shows, starting with Dragon Ball and then onto Dragon Ball Z. Reactor to latino openings and endings
Well the new Dragon ball series is coming on late 2024.we are getting Dragon ball content after 6 years so i am hayped up for new series. I don't know will you watch this anime but if you are thinking about to watch that you should start watching this from now. There are 3 series Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z then Dragon Ball Super, well Dragon ball super was not accurate with manga so i prefer to read Manga of Dragon ball super and dragon ball gt is non canon so no need to watch gt.
Okay, just so you know, if you intend to start watching Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z is...not really the first thing. Dragon Ball Z is essentially Dragon Ball Saga 7. In the original comic what is called Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z is just Dragon Ball as one long series. The anime just changed the name to Dragon Ball Z at the 7th saga to try and get more people watching by promoting a series with a new name. If you want to start at the beginning for the anime, Dragon Ball is the one to start with (not Z), and Dragon Ball Kai is a version of Z that is more like the original comic if you want a more watchable experience for the Z portion of the anime (the original Z anime put a lot of stuff in that isn't in the comic).
After Z ended two other series have been made after that as sort of continuations, but the core stuff I'd say is just Dragon Ball and Z mostly (or just Dragon Ball if you're going by the comic version). The first intro you saw was for Dragon Ball, the second and third openings you saw were for the beginning and ending of Z, the fourth one was GT's, the fifth and sixth were for Kai, and the rest were of Dragon Ball Super.
