After round 5 I don't feel very intelligent... But I liked it! Thank you for another great quiz. Answer to the bonus question is "stalactites"
Listen... Can you put in some more TV/Movies/Music trivia questions, please! 😂
Correct on the bonus! Not many people enjoy the celebrity or entertainment and sports-related rounds.
@@detormentis I do!
Stalacrite
Stalactite
Lack of knowledge perhaps not intelligence.
Intelligence and “how much you know” are not the same thing. Intelligence is a relative aptitude to learn and process information. A lack of knowledge in certain areas is not an indicator of intelligence.
Exactly.
The title is null ,confusion the totally different between intelligent and how much you know 😂😂😂😂
Exactly. I aced this quiz… and I’m a bloody moron!
The one who created the video has no idea 😂
@@kvall4088 If you do not
I really liked round 5. It made you think. The other categories are things you either know or you don't. That just measures your memory, not intelligence.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
Hi, speaking of Salt, the reason it was so valuable in olden times was not because it was used to enhance flavor but because it was crucial in two parts of daily life: storing food (which was salted -- like pork) and cleaning. Salt or sodium is known to effectively kill germs and bacteria. This is also the reason sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) was the first form of tooth paste and can still be used today. The only reason it isn't is because most commercial toothpaste also includes fluoride, which is thought to strengthen tooth enamel.
Because fluoride is poisonous, they had to LIE ABOUT IT , to put it into drinking water ! ! IT HAS NO BENEFIT TO HUMANS !
The biggest reason is of course that our bodies need salt.
A stalactite , ( Tights come down , mites grow up , lol )
Good mneumonic, thanks!!
That’s exactly how I remember it!
Correct!
I just remember that stalactites have to hang tight.
Stalactites. Stalagmites grow up from the ground
Because they mite reach the top. An easy way to remember the difference.
Correct!
Think of holding on tight, that's how I remember it
I meant that but I can’t spell.
One does but the other from the roof. I'm laughing at that statement. If both join together, it's called a column.
Always a pleasure to see you! Love your brilliant quotes and explanations. Really mind elevating! Not got to round 5 yet - but just had to quickly thank you!😃
Thank you so much for watching!
That was a challenging, fun quiz! Only 43/50 Bonus- stalactite?? Loved cryptic thinking!😊
Hey Sean,
I always enjoy your quizzes. Very challenging and always educational. I really like the format you used in Round 5. Keep up the great work.
Awesome, thank you so much!
Round Five - Cryptic Reasoning was great fun. You should do an entire quiz of that. It tests the vocabulary.
Just recently found your channel. Really enjoying your quizzes.
43 and stalactites. An interesting final round, and one well worth a reappearance in a future quiz! Congratulations on another fine quiz!
I always remembered it from when I was a kid, the Stalactites were on the ceiling, so they were held there "tight". Stalagmites were sticking up from the ground because you "might" get one up the butt if you tripped and fell on it. I know, it's a dumb way to remember, but it works!
Correct!
Stalactites have a C in the center of the word for ceiling, and stalagmites have a G in the center for ground.
We love round 5! Also your quizzes are very well made, you should be proud! Thanks for all the hard work Ill be watching them all!!
. . . although I object to Saddam Hussein being called a "politician".
First of your videos for me. That was fun. I missed 5. One from transportation, one from trivia and three from the celebrity quiz section.
Well, 43, so not bad. I am rubbish on recognizing faces, so this was where all my fails occurred. Stalactites, "When the tights come down the mites go up" . Felt a really easy quiz, apart from face recognition, although I have always been bad at that!
Stalactites have to hold on tight!
42 Finally made Einstein!!!!!! Yeee haahh! The,"Cryptic Reasoning", was lots of fun and would be great for a repeat, but I still love it when you do,"Landmarks". Stalactites was the answer to the bonus. I usually miss those. Perfect scores serve no purpose. What is the use taking these quizzes unless I come away with something?
Landmarks... coming up! Thank you for watching!
Excellent production! So worthwhile and mind challenging.
Interesting last category….. had to really think it through to answer.
Love the new comparison category, Sean! Hawking today for me; Bonus question answer is Stalactites. Thanks for another Great Quiz!😊🌼🥀🐝💕
Glad you enjoyed it! And correct on the bonus!
Ditto
That's what I earned too.
I got 6 wrong but the comparison thingy 10 for ten . I have a vast vocabulary obviously more vast than I thought . This was the easiest for me
This is based more on knowledge than intelligence.
You're right. You can be the dumbest person on earth, and still have the memory to recognize simple trivia if you've heard it before.
I like round 5. It really makes you think. Thanks for something new. As always, thank you for all the work you put into these challenging quizzes.
Good quiz. My memory is fuzzy when it comes to recalling names. I know who they are but I just cant remember their name. New subscriber. I did remember stalagtites.
Round 5 was great...glad to see the info statements again..great job❤
Believe it or not... when putting together a quiz, a find the "Did You Know" sections the hardest to do!
@@detormentis we appreciate you effort very much
Round five was fantastic! I LOVE questions like that! A real brain adventure! 💥🤘
Excellent, glad you enjoyed it!
Hawking award of recognition. Again!! Thanks Sean for making these quizzes. I really loved part five! Makes my brain work hard!
Fleming award again.
Icicle type formations in cave are stalagmite?
Enjoyed the last section. Made you think of words/definitions and usages.
BUMPKINS!!! 😄 🤣 😂 😆 😄 🤣 😂 😆 😄
Great last round, Sean!
I wondered who's gonna pick up on that! NZ are our arch-enemies (in rugby at least!)
@@detormentis They surely are SA enemies in rugby, and it was a no-brainer for me. Many others get it? Hope so!
Some of us Kiwis are Bumpkins 😳
I LOVED the last category. So fun a d challenging. ❤😊
Really like the new category!
Excellent - just loving these, also, what you don't know already, you can learn.. Must have 'afternoon slump' though as, in trying to keep count I dozed off as your voice and music are quite relaxing and hypnotic 😊 thanking you.
Hello Sean. The bonus answer is 'stalactites'. I do like the new Round 5, please keep it in, or repeat it now and again in future quizzes.
Will do! And correct on the bonus!
Round 5 interesting. Not as easy as it looks at first. Looking forward to more of the same please. Also, I am hopeless at ‘celeb’ faces - film stars, tv presenters etc. but do recognise actual important faces, even if I don’t like them. The ‘celebs’ bring my score down. 🙁 Thank you for your quizzes Sean and the hard work you must put in.
Thank you for giving feedback. It's all appreciated and used to fine-tune the quizzes. Thank you for watching!
Same here about "celebs."
That was a well done and fun trivia quiz!
Thank you Sean! Awesome!
Thank you for watching!
36/50 Another superb quiz. I really enjoyed the cryptic reasoning round. A nice addition, Sean.
Bonus: Stalactites. Tyfs. Sorry, I'm late. I had a busy day.😊
Correct on the bonus, and thank you for watching!
The final round was a bit tricky because of the flexibility of vocabulary usage. I had to stop the clock on a few to think about them extra. Please keep adding them.
Will do, but I will allow more time per question for that particular topic. Thank you!
I agree. Success and realization are the same thing!
Hello Sir. You really do make spectacular quizzes. Such a lot of brilliant work and detail..
Loved Round 5!
I got 32/50, which sounds about right for me. I could've got a couple more, like Nigella Lawson (escaped my mind on the moment!) and perhaps in the last round...which i struggled with, until i understood what was being asked! Oh..PS: It's Stalactite. :)
46 out of 50 this week, bit of a mind-bender with that last round, but really enjoyed it! Bonus is Stalactites (tights fall down😂)
Great score, correct on the bonus! Thank you for watching!
stalactite (c is for ceiling) v stalagmite....that's how I was taught/remember the diff...
I could never remember which was which, but "tights fall down" is a great way to remember stalactites!
No! . . . they hold on *tite*!
I love your channel! This is my type of fun. Politician's by face stumped me big time, but I landed on the Einstein level, I'll try to improve! Cheers!
Great quizz thank you, I did really well. Happy days.
Nice one!
Thanks for the quiz Shaun. I remain at Einstein level with 44/50. Was looking forward to the idea of the cryptic round, and whilst it was good, somehow it wasn't what I was expecting, although to be honest I also have no idea what I was expecting either :D
hand one of these Einsteins a Bible and the simplicity of it is beyond their comprehension! the Truth is always contrary to what man considers genus
agreed but can't get above 40 after second quiz so what did I expect lol
A very interesting and enjoyable quiz. Thank you
Thank you for watching!
Luv the beginning!
On this 81st round of the Ultimate Trivia Quiz, I scored 48/50. I missed #7 (I misunderstood the question), and 34 (Marine le Who? ). I had a lucky guess or two in Round 5. I felt that a few of those could go either way and I had to pick the best answer.
For the bonus, those icicle-like things are called stalactites. I was taught to differentiate the stalactites from stalagmites because stalactites hang "tight" to the ceiling.
As far as Round 5, I'm not really a fan of vocabulary questions in a trivia quiz. It's alright on occasion, but I'd prefer to not have a steady diet of them.
Regardless of my feelings about Round 5, Shaun, know that I appreciate the work that you put into this quiz, as well as all the other quizzes that you post. Thanks!
Thank you so much, I appreciate it. Vocab will be rotated, so no worries!
Marine le Pen .. a French politician .. leader of the equivalent to the National Front Party.
Every time there is a election over here her posters usually get defaced by someone giving her black hair and a little 'Hitler' mustache, along with a message (in French) that I won't translate in case there are children reading this.
This has nothing to do with intelligence it's just trivia
Fascinating and Interesting INFORMATION...
Definitely love the new category! Also the bonus is stalactites!
As always , this was a great quiz. The bonus question answer is stalactite. Thanks.😊
Correct, thank you so much for watching!
I like how all of the titles for “how many did you answer correctly?” are all positive things.
That was fun! 43/50 and got stalactite. 🙂
8 WRONG. Enjoyed this. More science and geography please.
Stalactites from ceiling, stalagmites from the ground - “C”for ceiling; “G” for ground 😂
Stalagtlites. Love
d todays quizz
This quiz made my gray matter... 40 - 50 thank you!
I knew I was a genius when I knew my vacuum cleaners
Thank you..... I like doing these quizzes to keep my brain active. Starting to feel the brain fog that comes with older age. Not as quick or sharp as I once was. Which probably has something to do with being nearly 60 and the brain starting to archive more of the information it has stored.
Stalactites and 47 correct. I think it said Einstein level. I love these. Thank you for making them.
37 correct out of 50. Got blown away on the final 10 questions.
My typical 37. Sigh. Loved the last category. Another interesting quiz. Thanks, Sean.
That's about where I'm at.
All Things Science 7/10
Transportation 9/10
Mixed Trivia 7/10
Famous Faces 9/10
Cryptic Reasoning 10/10 .. I like 'cryptic reasoning' .. more please !!
Total 42/50
Bonus .. Stalagtites are the 'icicles' that hang down
Stalagmites are the 'pillars' that rise up
38/50 here....72 year old caucasian living in the woods of east texas....i missed several due to the fast time needed to answer...
I love the "Did you know" pls do not cut this out!
48/50. Missed 10 & 45. Got the bonus question as well. Good quiz. Thanks. :)
36 and stalactites. This was fun. Thank you.
StalacTites - T for top. StalaGmites - G for ground [learned that 60 years ago...still works- Thanks for the brain rumble!
Thank you! 38/50
12 wrong, politicians got me, I am a little upset. Great video. Love the accent
36 but more by luck than judgement. Stalactite? Love the quiz.
Great quiz, apart from round 2, faces, I scored 100%.
Did well except for face recognition. I would have scored a 37 instead of a 31. However, MUCH fun! Stalactites. We learned this in school: Stalactites have to hold on "tite" so they won't fall, and stalagmites "mite" fall over if they're too lopsided.
"Only A Sharp Brain Can Pass This Quiz!" So - how do I know if I have a sharp brain?
Good quiz! Bonus is stalactites. I like the last category, it's different!
Thank you for watching, and correct on the bonus!
Cryptic Reasoning was great, Sean
.brilliant quizz only a Oppenheimer but learnt a lot thanks
Got them all right, how about a difficult quiz in the future?
38/50 loved round 5
Ha!!!!! Genius!!!! I knew it!!!!
Greetings! That was fun! I haven't done a trivia test in a long time... I actually surprised myself. I got 43/50. So I guess that means I made it to the Einstein Award of Genius. That makes my day... The answer to the question is stalactite, I believe. I will be sure to subscribe. Thanks!
I got 35 ---(including the bonus) not too shabby!
You are a Genius. I know one when I see one 😂
That was fun.... I correctly answered 39 questions.
This is NO test of Inteligence but of Knowledge !!!!!
8/10. 9/10. 10/10. 6/10. 5/10
Stalactites?
I liked the cryptic reasoning section, even though I took a hit in that section.
Correct!
i got 35 of 50 right and am happy with that.
Round 4, I went blank with some of the names that I actually knew, and others that I simply didn't know. I'd be close to the mid-40s otherwise.
Einstein for me. Stalactites. Great quiz.
I'll take Einstein! This was fun. Thanks!😊
hawking award....yaaaah!!
good quiz, 44/50.
I was doing 100% until it got to the pictures, then wiped out with less than half. LOL. Oh, and I did not know how many lines in a sonnet. Thank you👍
Y all ready have headed.😂
Stalactite. Hawking wisdom 14 wrong. Missed most of the photos 😕. Fun all in all. Thanks!
Correct!
The Fleming Award, not too bad but I thought 'Stalimites' 🤔
where did you get those beautiful color images?
41, good variety.
I mixed 6. Stalagtite would be the answer to the bonus question. I think?
48/50 but it is only the last set of questions that really mad you use your brain
I missed 6 out of 50. I enjoyed it. 😊
Stalactites. I've got Harry Hill to thank for knowing that. You have to have a system!
