Here's how to dupe items in Sons of the Forest:
Find a location with the items you want.
Collect all the items you can carry in your inventory from the location.
Save your game at a nearby Tent or Bed.
Quit out to the main menu.
Reload your save.
Rinse & repeat!
It's hard to tell if this is actually a glitch or an intended design choice that may change during Early Access.

I don't think this is a glitch, it has been in the game since The Forest, but the problem is that it's very exploitable.
@@Subscribe There are 2 options, they leave it like that or they nerf it to like if there's loot near you it doesn't respawn, i hope they don't patch it, it's a very time saving feature.
@@camil0968 they are 100% not even touching this because it affects the value presets to the game so nothing will change it because then it would affect values like trees regrowing and enemies respawning. If they played around with it then enemies would die forever so theres a reason it exists, they just leave it up to the player to take advantage of it or not but its not a huge problem.

i dont need this glitch my problem is i only can have one fully geared shotgun/ Pistol but i want to share it with my companion (Virginia) -_- thats the only reason i would dupe.
Well agreeable it sounds exploitable to h asve items respawn but it was a cool feature for newer players. In my opinion i quite like it as its yseful for early game but yeah i wouldnt exploit it to my advantage.
