about the trees
both techniques are cool
with the sponge it looks bigger and smoother and with the paper it looks like the tree has more different leafs ..don't know how to explain it 😅

The sponge effect is more for a windy look and the news paper is for a regular effect. But both really look good. Great job.

I like both methods. The one on the right gives the tree a softer look. The left one gives a bit more detail to the leaves themselves. I think it just depends on the type of picture you're going for. Great video.

I like both ways, newspaper and sponge. Just gave me an idea that when I try this to mix it up and use both ways for trees, give them different textures instead of just one.

In this one I like the newspaper tree. The leaves on the tree is detailed than the sponge tree. It just gave it more life. :)
I think they both look good because it makes both of the trees different also it gives them both character
the newspaper gives it the "realistic" look to it but for beginners would do the sponge since it would be easier, keep up the good work and hope to see u do a fire breathing dragon soon :)

Your English is better than mine and I've been speaking it since I was old enough to talk. Lol...I really enjoy your videos. They have helped me a lot. I like the magazine paper texture better, I haven't used it yet but I will next time. I also like how you use the magazine paper to make waterfalls. It looks way better than using poster board.

I just love the tutorials. Liked the tree with the newspaper technique on the left side more. But I think the combination on the two in one art piece is very nice.
I think both looks pretty good. For me the different is that the paper looks more rough, like... Bigger leafs.
The spons looks like small leafs and closer together.

I think that it's really awesome to see the entire process. I'm really interested in this type of art, but I'm a lot younger. I like seeing how it starts out looking sloppy, but the end result is amazing. This is nice because I'd get discouraged and quit because it didn't look good, but this is awesome to see!

Love the painting and both techniques. But I really like the left leaves better, more realistic in my opinion. I would love to see an underwater scene soon. Thanks again for such a great tutorial.
I think combining both techniques would create a wonderful effect. It would give it more depth. Use the sponge first then the paper lightly over it.

I think the newspaper tree looks good for a still scene; The sponge effect gives it a windswept look I think the sponge effect would look really good on a willow tree or a wisteria.
The trees done with the newspaper look more realistic, you get more individual leafs. The sponge is softer , better for say willow trees and moss. Imo both have their place.
Hey, I find you really inspiring and I even used your video for a starting point for my own art. I liked the newspaper the most but the sponge looked really nice too because it had that windy effect. Keep up the great work!!! You are amazing and a great help for beginners!

Ahhh you make the dabbing with Newspaper. I use a Sponge last time and had the Problem with a few Pieces on the Colors that fall off from the Sponge. Good to know. Thanks to you and keep on Spraying :D

The tree done with sponge reminds me of a whip willow branches. The one done with paper remind me of an oak tree. So I think you can use both to show as different trees.

this was a close one, but I think the newspaper leaves looked more natural then the sponge leaves. the painting overall was awesome though.

I'm using happy color brand and that's cans are AUTO ( car) PAINT. Its for European market but if u live in USA KRYLIN will do good job :)
