  • Meet Viren. He was diagnosed with myelofibrosis-a type of bone marrow cancer-right before 2020 and was given as little as 6 months to live without a matching blood stem cell donor. Faced with the option of hospice or a blood stem cell transplant, Viren found hope when a match surfaced quickly. Today, he continues to champion the cause, especially for patients of South Asian descent, transforming from transplant recipient to advocate and benefactor.
