- Firefighter Gary Kreski was killed in the line of duty on April 17th, 1983. He was fighting a fire in a commercial building when the roof collapsed. FF Kreski's sacrifice 41 years ago was honored today by members of Livonia Fire, by fire department retirees and by members of the City Clerk's office.
