There is so much talent hidden all over the world, almost none of us actually get to tour further than a few local blocks, then some idiot writes a song called "I can't dance" to make my childhood awkward...
@@ggh_-ts6pn People respond to the amount of emotion transmitted - not the technique. Music is an emotional medium. If technique ruled, then shredders will all sit atop the rankings of great guitarists, which isn't remotely the case. Having seen Gilmour three times, along with countless other great guitarists, he completely dominates in one aspect: being the most "epic" guitarist I've ever seen. And that's mostly about getting the most emotional content in his playing. No one who knows music rates him "best", but they sure as fuck don't call him "overrated"
@@ggh_-ts6pn what an arrogant comment! You can say you don't like his playing, but he is widely regarded as one of the best melodic rock guitarists/composers by people who are more knowledgeable than you will ever be. Give some respect kid
