I rode in a friends Nissan pathfinder . I cannot get my preferred vehicle (Toyota sienna or Highlander) . So i thought , what about a pathfinder . Very nice room inside , runs smooth . I like it enough to consider buying . So i look around and it shows 5-6k off . I checked out 2 different sites . Both shows bogus fees . It’s so irritating when considering buying a vehicle . Literally gets people a major headache just thinking about walking into a dealership . The 2 sites i looked at showed over $4k bogus hidden costs . I would be willing to bet that the *i see after the supposed 5-6k discount will have hidden ways to make it impossible to actually get that discount as well. We are in the market for getting a new vehicle but have to prepare for the nightmare i will have to go through . I know literally (every) horrible move a dealership will try . Any time my friends or In-laws go for a new vehicle they take me with them . A few months ago i went with in-laws and the very first dealership we went to tried to scam my in-laws . I so hate the dealership experience . (Disclaimer, never been to this particular dealership in video so nothing negative or positive towards) Now the only negative i can see with the pathfinder is not being a hybrid . It’s 2024 right now . We should be beyond gas only vehicles already . I would consider buying this pathfinder though if the price was low enough to offset the loss in gas $ as hybrids are far better savings in gas over the years.
