We did some full time travel in 2015 and 2016 and since then 3-4 month travels but now maintain a home base in the US. We love the winter months in the highlands of Chiang Mai, Thailand. but it starts getting pretty hot and the farmers start burning fields in March. In April we were in South Korea for the cherry blossoms. I wouldn't want to stay in SE Asia in the summer months. And that is one of the hardest parts of long term travel - the planning and knowing where to go and when. Happy and safe travels.

Hello. We would love to visit India! It is such a large and diverse nation with such rich history and culture. We would want to do some planning and make the most of a visit to India. If we do not make it this trip, it will definitely be a destination for a future trip. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions if one was to have a month or two?
There's so much to see actually ..North to South East to West every direction is different with varied cusines and landscapes..if you can cope with the crowds and noise and to be honest pollution you may just have a good experience ..but if you want a sanitized version it would be wiser to book through agents whatever pacakages they offer ....if you research you'll see plenty of diversity from kashmir to kanyakumai..maharashtra to far east ..there are beaches deserts mountains forests caves temples but a guided tour agent may be best for advice❤
