The Bee Gees are fascinating because they are unarmed. There are no defenses against the heart joy and pain. They show it all. That's why I love them. They are the pure, real thing.

I saw them in 1978. It was one of the most amazing concerts that I have ever been to. I went with my then boyfriend who is now my husband of almost 35 years and he love them too. Barry sang a song called “words”, you’ll have to listen to it. But when he let out the first two notes of the song the women screamed so loud throughout the whole song that you couldn’t even hear the rest of the song, it was amazing.
And yes they were just as fabulous in concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😍😀😍

I had the great fortune of seeing Barry Gibb at an event (1989) and Bee Gees in Las Vegas, NV (1997). They were stellar to hear LIVE! One of the best concerts of my life - I wanted them to continue singing another hour (or two!) The harmonies from three brothers was pure magic from microphones. Bee Gees music will not only make you feel emotions, you'll also be dancing, moving, grooving...Next song to hear? "Fanny Be Tender" Official video ..there's a soulful song with some classic falsetto!

Yes, that’s Barry singing lead on this one. They all have perfect pitch which is how they are able to sing, harmonise, and play instruments naturally without lessons. Super musically gifted songwriters and performers. Wikipedia says for this song, they recorded 9 layers of 3 part harmony, creating 9x3=27 voices. The most amazing part of the process was that Barry sang all of his parts only once each, one right after the other, without listening to his previous vocals in headphones, and they all blended perfectly. Then Robin and Maurice came in and the 3 of them did what you see in the video 3 times in one mike having the effect of one voice. In the final mix, Barry’s falsetto is dominant. Musical genius! They donated the proceeds from this #1 song to a children’s charity in perpetuity. They started singing as kids. To see their first tv appearance, just search for BEE GEES 1960.

It was televised when they chose the song and signed it over to Unicef and they sang this perfectly. What I also find amazing is that none of them ever learned to read music. They just explained what was in their mind until they got what they wanted. They wrote this and Tragedy in the same afternoon and got the idea for Shadow Dancing that evening. Three number ones in a day.

I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the best falsetto voice ever, & what makes it so incredible, is that in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is very rare! Thank you so much for this, they were brothers, & Barry is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed, & they span over years, & crossed many genres 😍 I also believe, that if there is music in Heaven, it would sound like the Bee Gee's ❤️❤️❤️ Curious, do you need a cigarette after listening to this song!!! Here are some facts about the Bee Gee's:
1.Barry Gibbs is 2 years older than I am. I grew up in this Era called DISCO.
2.Barry was the lead singer and his brother's were mostly backup, but all 3 were GREAT.
3.This was Family Harmony at its best.
(Three voices that sounds like one).
4.They were a normal band until they tried something different.
5.It was an accident, they decided to sing "FALSETTO" for fun.
6.The people loved it, and DEMANDED more.
7 This became their unique, signature sound, and trademark that shot them to the top.
      8. Barry was the lead singer, Robin and Maurice HARMONIZED ALSO IN FALSETTO.
9.Their unique sound that made them famous.
10 If you listen close you can hear the Falsetto of all 3.
      11. It became their standard. The Disco Era was dying at this point.
      12. The Bee Gee's Music, breathed new life into the Disco Era.
13, That kept DISCO alive and popular for many more years.
      14. The Bee Gee's wrote 1030 songs in their life.
15.They wrote many songs, for other famous artist, who made those songs famous.
16.They broke many long standing records, in their lifetime.
      17. They wrote all of their own music.
      18. And all 3 played instruments themselves.
      19. They would be honored that a new generation is hearing their music.
      20. Feel free to check out my facts for yourself.

You need to hear some of Robin's leads. He was called the best white soul singer of his generation by peers and many critics. His voice on ballads could make you cry. Amazing vibrato. Barry took more leads in the mid 70's because the falsetto was popular in the "disco era" which they considered R&B. They didn't even know what "disco" was.

There are videos of live performances. Back then you either listened to recordings, the radio or saw them live...lol. No MTV until 1981 or internet like now.

Barry is the one in the middle singing lead who likes like a) Jesus or b) the ideal model for a shampoo commercial. Also check out More Than A Woman. If you want to do a comparison reaction, try reacting to the Bee Gees version of More Than a Woman and Tavares' version; both versions appear in the movie Saturday Night Fever.

Their falsetto vocal range was developed in the 1970's by far their most dominant era - their 70's sound had a Rnb , soulful , funky sound and they took Disco to a whole new level making them mega stars across the planet.

Yes Barry is the middle one, his falsetto is ranked #1 of all time 👍, this is studio done though no auto tune all their beautiful harmony, sadly Barry is last Gibb brother alive today, he has a new album out called Greenfields done with country artists 💕

I love, love, love that you love them!! I grew up on the Bee Gees and their music never gets old. If you've ever seen the 1978 movie Saturday Night Fever with John Travolta, the Bee Gees have many songs on that sound track. More Than A Woman is one of the best songs on there. You should really watch this movie, because all the music on there is great!! Pull up the soundtrack and give it a listen😊💜🎶🎶 Too Much Heaven ALWAYS gives me chills and makes me cry!💜
