Good to see you playing the course I used to be a member of. Its not as or as hard as it used to be which is a shame as it could easily be one of the best courses in Surrey with some serious money spent on it.
Well played and great vid. Really tough course. What do you play off usually? I think for MW you need to add 5-6 scores to usual handicap. You look like a much better player than +21 to me. I play off 28 and went round +39 lol 😝 crazy hard course
It is a challenge but it is more the impact it has on your mind rather than a physical one. People look at the total yardage and instantly think it will be hard because of it thus pressuring you. You need to be reasonably long off the tee but the key to scoring well at MW is to keep the ball on the short stuff and plot your way around it. The greens are generally large and relatively benign for borrows if you can hit them and there are genuinely birieable holes all over the course if you hit relatively striaght and know your yardages. There are though some tough holes which can bite you on the Bum however if you use your brain and play conservatively you can score well here. Yes handicaps travel well here but not as well as some say.
