Souffle pearls are hollow, so getting the fine knotting needle through them and out the other side is difficult.
we discovered that dropping the pearl down onto the needle seems to work more often than wriggling the tip around horizontally. We have no idea why. Quantum engineering may be involved.
However knot up a necklace and you have certainly earned a nice cup of tea and a lie down in a darkened room.
