- The plaintiff and defendant were in a relationship, and the plaintiff says he raised the defendant’s newborn child as his own. They had a child together but couldn’t stop arguing. He’s suing for overpayment of child support. The defendant argues the plaintiff was verbally abusive, called her a bad mom, and stole their daughter’s money. She denies owing anything.

I won both orders DENIED. I can raise and accommodate my kids better than both they moms. its not petty its PRINCIPLE !!

I was the same way when both my kids moms took me to child support, they were both denied.. I'm a quiet man, I was speaking up as he did in the court hearing and I won both. He's adamant and forthcoming and scorn, the chic had a newborn he raised and still interacts with, he wasn't perfectly articulating but jm seen and recognized the brothas POINTS.

Why don't men take full custody of the children if they don't want to pay child support? This is why you shouldn't have children with people you don't like for real.
I’m sure if he could he would but the courts unfortunately do not give fathers full custody straight forward. The mother would have to be unfit to take care of the child before that happens. Even then he would have to prove/ fight in court that she is. But the child can live with him Fulltime after a certain age if the child wants to.
99% of men don't actually want the responsibility of being full-time custodial parents. They love to complain that courts are biased, but in 2024, the bias is not nearly as present as it did used to be in the past. Men COULD get full custody if they wanted. But they don't file for it because they know they want to live their lives freely and it's much easier to be a weekend visitor than a full-time parent. If we look at the statistics of men who actually file for custody, they are pathetically low. The men don't even try. But they blame courts they never even spoke to. 🙄

What a clown. The overpayment was an oversight because a law changed. He thought he shouldn’t have to pay more when he was making double what he made originally? Why would HIS child not be entitled to more? And although I think the law about the insurance works in most cases it certainly did not in this one imo.
Because he stated he does the child support and plus more…he even stated he also do for other child which is not his..the mother agree he do as well. So in reality he is paying more it’s just not court order. But the mother just wants more money for child support. Which is dumb in this case because he’s a present father in his child life which is rare.

The judge did not listen once he heard "not pay child support." That man wasn't saying he didn't want to take care of his child. What he said was that the parents should be able to come to an agreement themselves without getting the courts involved, which they should. If both parents do what is best for the child(ren), there's no need to use the courts.

Him wanting his overpayment back is no different than if the mother sued for the arrearage. There is this myth in society that says woman aren't suppoed to be held accountable when it comes to child support. Overpayments should be treated with the same energy as an arrearage.
The plaintiff is sounding clownish when he said, the money that the kids get from their birthday parties, doesn’t go to the child but to the him because he paid for the party. Sir, you don’t suppose to expect to get paid back for throwing your own minor child a birthday party. The money is supposed to go to the child’s bank account (piggy bank or whatever), to be spent on the child.
I don’t like the plaintiff to much, but he makes a valid claim about child support. It’s child support not mommy support.

If the child resides with the custodial parent, he or she would be entitled to child support. That child has to eat, use utilities, etc., before the mom gets the check from the Dad, so that money is going back into the household. She hadn't ask for an increase for several years, clearly she's not taking advantage of this guy, & it was only a $10 a week increase! Because he has to cover the child's insurance, that little $40 extra a month, will go back to him, causing an overpayment in child support. He's a pitiful man, for being angry over providing Financial support for his daughter! Taking the baby's Birthday money for reimbursement of the $ he spent on the party was an all time low!
He had absolutely no facts about misused funds. His complaint was about having funds taken from his check. When helping out from time to time was enough. Rent, food , clothes, and gas money are needed every month.
Men who complain about paying child support for their own children need to file for custodial parent since they think it’s so easy!
