On testing this exact model recently , I was shocked by the delay in pull away , which I found dangerous and no tester, except petrol ped, has commented on this. I will not be ordering one.
The ix1 is putting the q4 etron to absolute shame🔥
A mention on the missing buttons and too much reliance on touch screens would be nice in this review. Given if BMW had retained some key buttons this would make a fantastic SUV. Still on the fence over the focus on screens and not the road.
Given what it’s based on then a m35i should be no problem
More of a sales pitch than a review but I guess that was the intention, I'm thinking its probably uncomfortable with those wheels and tyres and not sure how that dash would look on a bright sunny day, apart from that I like it the grill too its evolved into a more modern looking car, finally.
Yes, i did❤
Can’t get over that front grille. Otherwise BMWs are ok.
X1 phev 326ps is over 50K.....😮
beautifull car but too hard suspension
Now this is more like it. 👌🏾
would you be interested in getting one?
@@OsvUkVehicleSupply definitely. It looks like a proper X car now.
I had an 2013 F39 320d which I had from new. A great, car, I loved it, but the diesel wasn't Euro6 Compliant and after ten years it was time to say goodbye. I wanted to trade it last year; I was looking to go electric. I tried the absolutely bonkers i4 50 last summer. Far too vulgar for my tastes, and the performance was far more than I needed, and it cost far too much. I also thought it was a bit cramped inside, so I thought I might wait for the then forthcoming iX1. Fast forward to November, after the new X1 was released, I arranged with my local dealer to test drive the X1. They didn't have a iX1 available, so I was given a diesel X1. My impressions? OMG it was FWD, and my, couldn't you tell. The understeer! Remember, I was coming from a 3-Series. I did not like the understeer at all. I also found the X1interior noticeably narrower and a bit cramped, if I am honest. I found it so negative, I immediately scratched the iX1 from my list. Returning to the dealer after the test drive, the salesmen told me they did now have a regular i4 40 so I drove that. OMG the difference between the X1 and the i4, it was like chalk and cheese - where the X1 understeered like hell, the i4 felt like a proper BMW. I bought it then and there. Very happy. It is a great pity, be because I wanted to like the X1.
Answer to your question- No. This vehicle is overpriced and if you bought as a long term purchase will prove to be a pain in the proverbial regarding reliability.
Comparing to what ?
The exterior looks atrocious. It's an ugly vehicle.
