Hello brother, is the maintenance cost too high for this bike? How frequently do you need to replace the cone set?
@@sakshamtiwari3209 cone set you have to change 10k to 15k, km once for best handling... and every 3k to 4k, km I service my bike it takes around 2.5k rs. bocz I prefer motul engine oil for my domi it cost around 1.5k ✌️

Agreed. But there were some genuine niggles like vibes at the meat of cruising rpm range, which seem to have been completely addressed now. Whatever rest of india decides, I have booked mine. This is a gem at this price. And I am booking this despite having budget for R3's and above.
Same applies for the good cars too, Joyson!

1. Takes design inspiration frim the bike that made the powercruiser market again, The Ducati Diavel.
2. The previous model did have less as it had a quieter exhaust, I get looks from people on my daily commute.
3.Yes it does vibe but its more a slight buzz than a dildo style vibe which.. is okay from a single cylinder pov.
4. For a biggish bike this has the CHEAPEST spares and decently durable ones too.
5. Dunno about the KTM emgine but the Domi has a lot of changes to it so for my own 10k kms mileage its reliable AF.Not a single breakdown. One touch start.
6. Yeah it has slightly lower side in mileage, but dude its a 373 single it will not give you 40+ or such.. I ride mine with light wrist giving me 30/31 in city and 35/36 highway. Spirited riding saw it drop to 25 city and 27 Highway.
Moral of the story, the bike is really underrated.A great big bike starter if you want a sensible allrounder. True it dkes not do very very spectacular feats but it does leave you impressed. Like the Splendor of big bikes.

Best modern bike to come from India at the moment. Hats off to Bajaj
Something that I have always agreed is that the dominar is the most value for money motorcycle there is. No other brand offers this much for this price. The only problem is bad marketing. This bike can do it all. Casual riding, long distance cruising, drag racing etc but bad marketing and blind faith of RE fanboys took a toll on this. Hope people realise this.
Also I like how Varun starts his day with a nice cup of coffee (riding the dominar) what I love, however, is ten-hut starting his day by snorting cocaine (GTR)😁

Not everyone might have noticed, but on 0:49 seconds, the comparison figures mentioned are both opposite to the video.. New Dominar figures on Old Dominar Speedometer, and vice versa.

Dominar is much more badass than Duke 390, in my head it's like that Hooligan who has become calm over the years, grown bigger, but if you open it up...YOU know what a hooligan he really is.
Duke 390, even with all that power and so less weight feels like it needs to prove itself. It has anger management (heating) issues, it's short tempered (frantic power delivery) and it doesn't really behave (doesn't go slow).
Yamaha R3 is something in between the character of both Dominar and Duke 390.Its also very angry, rowdy and rude but if you open it up.
I think you guys got it mixed up when labelling the side to side shots of the old and new dominars. @0:50

Been riding this bike for 6 months now. Surely, it is the best 2 wheel experience under 2.5 Lakh. #pockrocket
I love my 2018 domi. The only thing I feel I'm really going to miss not having is the better and more refined engine and the secondary display with gear position. It was always a great bike but sadly didn't get the response it deserved from the market. Hope that changes with this iteration.

Considering how theme based RE has got and how nicely Jawas are coming up when will bajaj wake up
Even brand like maruti suzuki even being largest seller in the market feels showroom upgrade is important.
Marketing surely plays an important role in a products outright sales! Surely Bajaj needs to work on it as it's India's First Power cruiser which definitely owns it's place in everyone's good books!
A flagship dealership won't make much sense for just one product. Maybe we could see that when Bajaj launches a few niche motorcycles.

I was looking to buy MT15 but now that motor cycle dont do justice to its price. With price difference of around 50k Dominor makes much more sense and value for money

Honda is unbeatable for its reliability and durability,I'm using CBR25OR from 7 years and not even a single problem thats how good they are built 😍

@@MegaRockzer You should che Mojo xt 300, it is build like tank , extremely reliable , take it anywere you want without any worry , Mine is almost 3 years old And almost covered 48k kms on it still feels rock solid, new mojo gets better brakes , longer and wider seats as well, not even any single minor brakdown till date

Little trivia- Endurance is the licensed manufacturer of WP in india. My friends work in Endurance. Except the WP Badge, They are as capable as WP's on duke. Plus these are tuned little softer than WP's. So, Great handling+ good ride quality= perfect package...

You can cruise, race and commute well with this. I own 2018 Dominar. Upgraded from 100cc. It gives you thrill and it's performance will keep you on the bike 👍🏻

Its so much satisfying to see dominar kicking RE ass everyday on roads.
amazing machine let down by bajaj's strategy and poor after sales service.
i live in tier-3 city and we do have bajaj show room here but they are not interested in selling expensive motorcycle like rs 200 or dominar.
second those who own dominar in my city are not happy with the service of the bike coz no proper dedicated mechanic is there for dominar plus they are not good enough to service the pulsar series too their main focus is on platina and CT100.
third no test ride bikes to try and to get the feel of the bike.
if bajaj can improve this they can easily sell dominar like hot cakes .
slowly all of my friends are moving from bajaj to some other brands which are more reliable and have good after sales.
Had already seen review by Autocar India, Motor beam but i was eagerly waiting for the review by you guys!! You guys deliver a different kind of touch of elegance while delivering a solid and firm review to the automobiles! That's what POWERDRIFT's touch is! That Red Godzilla against the Green Devil was such a pleasant sight! Surely the VFM motorcycle of India! Both beasts were surely HYPERRIDING!

Finally a much needed positive eyed review. Everyone else is just critically pointing out only the cons. But the power to price ratio it offers is what makes it special.
P.S. I won't buy it as I absolutely hate the buzzy nature of the motor. How is the refinement now ?
DOHC setup will do its duty in making it more refined now. Do test ride one..smoother
According to other reviews, minimal vibrations now. One can notice some only above 8000 rpms on foot pegs. The problem was with the SOHC setup which has now been replaced with DOHC.
Dominor was always been a VFM proposition.. I think only the marketing and positioning was wrong.. Because, Dominor buyer will never look at the RE and RE users don't care about Dominor. Just simple as that. But, Bajaj has to win this time..
Leave the bike aside.. Rohan are your driving a Nissan GTR??!! wow..

Saw Sarge's video on the old one and got it. Dominar is more than just a bike, it is a symbol of our automotive tech muscle. Indian manufacturers will soon be global phenomenon. Rode a Dominar 400(old version) recently and man I loved that motorcycle. Comfortable yet sporty motorcycle. The growl from the exhaust combined with the strong acceleration was something that I appreciated the most. With the recent updates, this motorcycle must get a lot of traction.
The silver colored USD forms suits the green color of the motorcycle. Would be more appealing if other colors like black and white were offered with golden colored forks.

I love chill mountain roads with twisties . Dream To cover all hills location India as much as possible . Dominor is not perfect for twisties 🙄 but it's more than enough for me . It can handle normal corner but hard for knee scraping cornering .

I still don't understand why the original Dominar was not received well, it was the best value for money and it looks really nice.
May be that could be a topic for a video.
I feel it was because Bajaj touted it as a replacement to a Royal Enfield and by all means the Dominar is a more capable machine than a classic 350 or 500 but Bajaj failed to comprehend that people who but Enfields buy them primal for their look; the retro appeal that they offer. I feel with the first gen Dominar, Bajaj had the opportunity to create a whole new segment of their own which was missed. Fingers crossed the new one will do better in the market.
@@ishaanrtiwari5663 I do agree with you, but I don't think that it is just the look of Royal Enfield bikes, it is also the feel of ample torque coming in at low revs that is enjoyable when touring, and that is the reason why Dominar can never be put as a competitor for Royal Enfield bikes.

@@lawking_horns My friend owns a Dominar, so I have ridden one many times. The way the torque hits is not the same as that of the air cooled RE bikes.

Dominar- 40hp 35nm / 0-100 in 7.1 sec.
CB300R- 31hp 27.5nm / 0-100 in 6.2 sec.
