Really love this live performance, as this replicating the sound we are hearing in the album version. This song's musical creativity just really brought to life with girls' choir serving as backing vocals and clapping hands as percussions. And yeah after 8 years, it's now October 2019, i'm delighted to see there are no dislikes in this video. This doesn't deserved to be disliked anyway.
I love the clarity on Vanessa's voice! definitely one of her best live-performances! wish I could be one of the girls in that choir! bunch of lucky talents they are :D
I wish I could see how awestruck and amazed the audience were during that performance.. Can't wait to see the music video. I have a feeling that she'll have a come back like Jason Mraz with "I'm Yours" with this one. Fingers crossed! =)
She's independent now, which means tons of money isn't being thrown at marketing her music. She has little money for this, as we can see in the video for Carousel - it's very low-budget and simple. But I'm not sure why Carousel was chosen as the lead single; it should've been Bride. It's the most audience-friendly song on the album, has that radio-pop vibe, but in all the good ways (I usually hate radio-pop). It is a shame they didn't put more into getting this song out there.
