i got this game free through xbox game pass but i wasn’t too into it at first because it felt weird, but after watching this video i reconsidered, and now i’m really enjoying it, so thanks James :)
Another excellent, well structured video James! I have no plans to play this game right now, because there are so many other games I want to play first, but I will definitely be considering this game in the future.
Have you played it yet? You should. It doesn't require crazy commitment like other titles.
Picked up this game 2 weeks ago and enjoy it quite much. The writing of the game is very good and detailed that keeps me going. Sure its a AA title so animation, enemy variety wise its less polished than a AAA title but there is no "collect 10 this and that" level bullshit quests here like in a AAA, so Greedfalls writing absolutely makes up for any shortcomings of the game. I definitely will follow this developer from now on.

The fact that you wanted to see more of your companion after the end is a good indicator for me that that game is great! Now it sucks that it is a bit disapointing but at the same time it means you really got attached to your companions and the world. Also, I really like games that have a tapestry ending with all the choices you made during the game laid out before you. But yeah they could have added a post credit scene where you talk to all your companions.

This is the sort of rpg I've missed. I'm not fond of the huge open-world rpgs coming out of Ubisoft and CD Project Red. They overwhelm me. Greedfall feels like a loving throwback to KOTOR, Fable, and the first two Mass Effect games.
After a couple of weekends with Modern Warfare beta's and Ghost Recon Breakpoint beta, I am going to continue my playthrough of Greedfall today.
Love the game.
If you try bringing Aphra on the opposing nation's mansion or Petrus or even Siora, they will have things to mention before meeting the faction's ruler. On my gameplay Aphra or Petrus will say to you that they would rather not be brought along before meeting the faction's leader. Being a Bioware refugee, that is one of those small bits that I find amusing and groundbreaking interaction for an AA game.
I have not heard or seen anything about this game until this video. I believe you have opened my eyes to something impressive and worth playing. I thank you, James, for I believe I will greatly enjoy this game.
You should try bad ending, that one feels more legitimate.

I've never been into KH and Days Gone was decent, I'm not sure about this game yet. I should love it but there's just something that's putting me off and I genuinely don't know what it is. Sekiro and The Surge 2 are my GOTY so far. Solid video though man.
I just Head Canon that the Bridge alliance built everyone a palace. They're nice like that.
Great video, sums everything up in a neat way. The quests made this game very special to me. I played Odyssey before it so I could not stop myself from comparing the difference in the depths of the quests.
Also, I wish there was a way to change/switch whom you romance, or an added perk for romancing someone, but that's just me.

I really wanted to like this as I love good rpgs (my fave is Kingdom come deliverance) but only a few hours in I've stopped playing it totally, I love most things about it but I just really dislike the combat, I just found it unbearable bad, not sure why I've played vastly worse games but it is what it is.
Spiders also made the game Technomancers. Horrible game though, I wouldn't try it.

@@davidroudebush6947 well the overall mechanics of the game were rather clunky, and you never feel in control of the character which makes combat a real pain. The only thing it had going was the premise of the story.
The first game wad just a huge fetch quest, I shall never bitch about AC game designs ever again. The rythm of these smaller games really doesnt sit well with me
