    FINALLY! A Cub Cadet Trac video that shows its raw power! I love my C/C Trac! This thing is a beast! Just a hint though. Always spray your snow blower-well with silicon so the snow doesn't stick. It's much more efficient!

      Traitor.......😜 I actually think NOTHING beats an Ariens (unless you're spending $4-5k on a Honda). I'm 7 seasons into my CC Track...I like it. Not in love with it. It certainly gets the job done, but not without a little aggravation and muscle. (I think its horribly underpowered) If I were to ever swap it out, I would absolutely get the Ariens 28" Sho Trac.

    • @jamesnm21
      @jamesnm21 Před 7 měsíci

      The tracked machines stay down in front better in heavy deep packed or plowed snow. Wheeled machines tend to climb up the snow instead of eating straight through it. Tracks are less maneuverable but save you a lot of work in the deep stuff.

      @SmoknJaysGarage and yet it can actually throw snow, and it's tracks don't fall off, and it actually starts when it's cold. The extra dollars can be seen in action

    Would the tracks be easier to handle than tires? I have this blower and for me, it’s tough to wrangle..female 125lbs 5’3. Thinking of trading in for something lighter but good enough to handle Michigan UP winters….thanks

    • @SmoknJaysGarage
      @SmoknJaysGarage  Před rokem +1

      A tire machine is going to be lighter. But tracks will almost always have better traction than wheels, even wheels with chains. So a tire machine will probably be a little easier to maneuver, but the trade off is that you're going to have to manually maneuver it a lot more than the track machine.

    • @sheriashton6802
      @sheriashton6802 Před rokem +1

      @@SmoknJaysGarage thanks, yeah, plus’s and minus’s. Thx for your feedback. Chains will help perhaps so I thin’ I should just stick with the lighter machine (w/out tracks)…

    • @jamesnm21
      @jamesnm21 Před 7 měsíci +1

      Stay with tracks. They eat straight through the heavy packed snow much better than wheeled machines. Wheels let the machine pivot backward too easily and that cause the front of the snow blower to lift up and climb the snow instead of staying down and biting straight through. Tracks are harder to turn but save you a lot of work when it comes to actually moving the snow.

      @@jamesnm21 Thanks, I wish I could own both for different types of snow. So far this year the cub with tires that I have has worked great, still getting used to it all but it’s been good overall. However, it has been light snow to work with, so, I’ve been lucky. When it becomes super wet heavy, I ma6 be in trouble, we will see. Thanks again
