You mentioned his analogy of the backstroke and I'd like to add in doing the backstroke yes you move forward but also you rely on your own back to keep you afloat while also in a position of having to look upwards as in trying to remain positive having your own back. It would take seven years before a doctor in Belgium finally correctly diagnosed Ren with autoimmunity, Lyme disease, and resulting damage to the brain, organs, joints, and PTSD. Ren's personal reflections are threaded through many of his songs; “Crutch,” "Insomnia," "Depression," “Diazepam," “Penitence,” “Dear God,” “Heretic,” “Dominos,” his "Freckled Angels" album, just to name a few, all deserve a listen. You mentioned how the room (and the lighting) makes it feel like you're in his head, and I think that's complemented by how loud the track is when the psychiatrist is talking him. It's a bit hard to hear her, and IMO that's often what it feels like when you're at the doctor's. You're in a dark place in your head, with loud, racing thoughts, and your therapist makes comments or asks potentially relevant questions that feel inane at the moment. Doc says, "what can you tell me about your childhood?" and you hear Charlie Brown saying, "good grief." Itl'm not downplaying how horrific it was for Ren to be told that his mind was making him feel sick while an actual disease was ravaging his body, but I can say it's just as useless to be told that your gastrointestinal system is F'd because of your anxiety. Thanks, doc, I kinda figured that out on my own, but it doesn't ^snap^ solve the problem. Knowing or explaining your trauma or neglect to your therapist doesn't change anything either. It doesn't take 3 guesses, and you're still sick. You still don't believe you should take that spot on the lifeboat. Thank you so much for posting this here!

I believe that Ren does most of his own productions…this is an example of his own production. The pig is a recurring reference to something…it might be a consistent reference to Animal Farm. At least if we can derive that from Animal Flow. But again…it is so clear…I chose The Fable Sphere over any reactor on any subject. “Bring me the receipts!” The Sphere is just the GREAT IT.

This also represents the multitude of misdiagnoses he went through, medications that didn’t help as the Lyme disease was running rampant through his body and brain , crippling.
