It’s amazing how Gold 66 is out and running around talking to the girls and distracted. Vicky could walk up to him and rope him and put him back. Gold 66 IS an amazing horse!

I had a stallion that was the best horse I ever had, he loved the girls but he was always well behaved and he would stand and wait for my approval! He also loved the grandkids, any time they were around he would come right up to the fence and turn sideways and then look at me, like put ‘em on, it wasn’t the kids begging to ride it was him begging me to put them on, when I they them on his back he would go walk them around and around very slow and gentle and then he would bring right back to the gate and I would take them off. No halter, no bridle, nothing. And then he would go and pick up his feed bucket and bring it to the gate and hand it to me like ok I want my reward now! Lol

I had an Arabian stallion that was like Gold66. I used him in endurance events for years. I even took him on a weekend event with my oldest grandson when my grandson was 2 weeks old. Diapers in one saddle bag and bottles in the other.

Stunning. Levi is like me, 2nd youngest of 10 kids. Looking to see him become a rope horse. Wood be good to see Amry use him in some breakaway roping competitions, that would do no end of good for his book value as a stud. With his even temperament, breeders would be lining up to have him cover their mares.

Gold 66 is a gentleman. I bet the mares that know him are glad he is so sweet. I agree with another comment on here that if your brother Levi can train him to do other things, like roping and or barrels , if he gets good at it, and you get some winning things on him, he will be more valuable as a stud. I am sure that all the fans of Gold 66 will be waiting to see how he is after his winter with your brother. Wishing you and Gold 66 the very best from the next stage of his training.

Gold 66 has a good temperament for a stallion. All the training has helped as well. It would be nice if your brother could also take him into roping competition. It would be nice to see what he could do in the arena. A few wins would also increase his desirability as a breeding stallion in the AQHA world. 🤔💖😉
Allen, your pure love of horses is so evident in your videos. Just mentioning that I saw a beautiful full grown red roan that made me think of your red roan colt at auction. Oklahoma's Cross Timbers Bison is having their fall roundup and one of the riders there was on a really spectacular red roan ! That's awesome that Vicki could walk right up to him when she doesn't mess with the horses but feeds them when your not there so that tells you a lot about a horse and a stud at that 😊 He a good boy cuz studs are unpredictable when there are mares in heat

Very nice he is so well mannered.
Pardon me for saying:
Two times I've seen "well-behaved" studs suddenly turned on their owners/handlers.
A (very pretty) young girl had one side of her face smashed in with her head between the stud's hoof and the ground.
The "plus side" to this is, the girl is very lucky to be alive and no brain damage.
The awful "negative side", the young girl isn't very pretty any more.
The second incident kinda similar except three people AND my horse got bit, kicked, ran-over.
With the second incident, I advised the owner, (another young girl) that her horse is alive due to "I wasn't packing heat" that particular day.
BOTTOM LINE...
PLEASE BE CAREFUL. WE "KNOW OUR HORSES", studs will be studs
Not only would you want a well behaved gentle stallion to be able to manage, but his temperament makes him more desirable to breed mares to. Depending on what type of horses you are after. But for me, I want sensible, good natured horses rather than wild hot headed ones.
