Film Description: Vin Diesel opted to not appear in the sequel to the film the shot him to stardom in the first place, The Fast and the Furious. With the character of Dominic Toretto out of the picture, 2 Fast 2 Furious concentrates exclusively on the latest exploits of undercover agent Brian O'Connor, played by Paul Walker. In addition, with director Rob Cohen passing, producers have added a dash of credibility to the sequel by hiring John Singleton to helm. What does completely remain from the first film is the presence of fast-living underground street-racing gangs. Moving from Los Angeles to Miami, O'Connor is looking to redeem himself after the events of the first movie, so he again goes undercover to infiltrate another group of thuggish car enthusiasts. This time around he's enlisted the help of ex-con Roman Pierce (Tyrese) and fellow agent Monica Celemente (Eva Mendes) to bring down Carter Verone (Cole Hauser), an importer/exporter who heads up a massive drug trafficking operation. Rene E.K 14 years ago. And I think he wasn't talking about the car culture, obviously that's been around forever and is only prone to any change when oil finally runs out. I think he meant the subculture of flashy, obnoxious, ridiculously bright "sex spec" cars as Marty and Moog would call them, as their popularity peaked in the first half of the 2000s and died out in about 2007-2009.

I first found about fast and furious when i was five, My dad took me to the movies, incidentaly, it was fast and furious 5. Then I became in love with the series, I begged my mom to buy the whole dvd collection. When I was only 7, studying for my exams in 2013, my dad, who is a car lover, broke the news to me, my hero died( Paul Walker ).We flew to america to his funeral back in 2013( we lived in the Philippines ) I remember crying, now 2018 comes in, my dad also died, they both died doing what they loved, driving cars. 4 hours after I arrived at the hospital, bc my family told me to come, my dad had a heart attack while driving. Anyway, 4 hours later. At exactly 11:25 pm, the ecg machine flatlined... It was cardiac arrest...I’m now 12 turning 13. And I hope I won’t die with cars. Especially, I’m a beginning car enthusiast. Just wanted to share my story

BEST FAST AND FURIOUS FILM OF THEM ALL, it's more about the cars... And just these two great characters that match the cars themselves well and really give a believeable feel that they are drivers. The other films don't feel like that at all, just story mashed up with small bits of car sequences

Never going to understand why so many complains about F2. For me it's the best of the franchise. Brian-Rom tandem was great, storywise was interesting and cool with some great ideas and development, and the scenes where great.
