George Sr tries to find a way to attend an anniversary dinner for Lucille, Michael deliberately tries to offend Ann's devout Christian parents, and Tobias goes overboard performing his Mrs Featherbottom persona.
Arrested Development is an American television sitcom created by Mitchell Hurwitz. The show follows the Bluths, a formerly wealthy dysfunctional family. It is presented in a serialized format, incorporating handheld camera work, voice-over narration, archival photos, and historical footage. The show maintains numerous running gags and catchphrases. Ron Howard serves as both an executive producer and the omniscient narrator and, in later seasons, appears in the show portraying a fictionalized version of himself.

I like how you can see at 3:32 how Mrs. Veal is biting her lip and glancing up at Michael after he compliments here, foreshadowing how she thinks he's hitting on her and tries to make the move on him later
Because all women want to be manhandled, which they rightfully and evolutionarily interpret as an uncaged passion for them, which her husband has never done. Thank god I learned this in my early 20’s, because that’s a yearning from men that all women deserve to feel.
The art in the Veal's place is heavenly.

Not going to put Franklin on the stand, and your lips are moving just a little bit.
A lot of people seem to think Franklin is real, such as the cops who cuff him for being aggressive.
It's sad because Gob became a ventriloquist in order to give himself the illusion that he had friends.

I'm French and in France cider is a (slightly) alcoholic beverage. When I was a TA in the US, an American fellow TA brought cider in the office once. It was surprising to me that it would be okay to bring alcohol in a university building, especially in the US where you have brown bags to hide the bottles. I was more surprised when it turned out to be nothing more than sparkly apple juice
yeah, in the US "hard cider" is usually the alcoholic stuff. I'd just order a "cider" at a bar though - it's confusing :)

This is such a good show. Tv has become unwatchable now in my opinion. It’s just reality shows and sports.
There are even more shows but a lot infused with identity politics by horrible screenwriters. I recommend older BBC shows like "Peep show". And as different as it is there are great Japanese anime focused on storytelling.
