Tornado strikes Lincoln, Omaha, and Iowa: extensive damage reported

On April 26, 2024, a devastating tornado tore through the north side of Lincoln, Nebraska, USA, before continuing its path of destruction across the Omaha metro area and into numerous towns in Iowa. The tornado, captured in a video shared by @Kcareaff, exhibited signs of tornadogenesis at 3 pm CDT, eventually evolving into a persistent and long-track storm. Extensive damage was reported across the affected areas, with homes, businesses, and infrastructure severely impacted.
