Yessss...I found this very useful. Let me go start doing stuff on the T5
Thanks, David, very useful and instructive. I've always found the recording features on the T5 a bit daunting but your latest video has helped enormously to clarify things. Keep 'em coming !
Wow i have learned something new,David.Wish i'd seen this video a lot sooner. Thankyou,Mick S.
Great video. Thanks! Hats off to Tyros Tipsters.
Thank you so much. I kept pressing right 1 then right 2 thinking that was how it recorded, but then i watched YOU and you made it all so much easier than the silly manual which only describes half of it!!Thanks.
Glad to help. The manual isn't very good so we try and help in a different way.
Great tutorial, thanks David.

Thank you so much for doing this video, I have been trying to figure this out for a long time. Also would like to know how to save it to a memory stick.
ThankYOU VERY MUCH.
😀👍👍
Thanks for sharing very helpful regards simone
Thanks, David, very appreciated that you've done those tutorials - Yamaha user guide doesn't concentrate on such important things!
One question: is there a way to record an auto accompaniment first, and then add right-hand solo? If I do a track with chords, it records only main party from the style, but not the whole accompaniment. Thank you so much!
Yes there is. You have to find a track that your styles are not using. Choose that track the same way as he showed in the video and record and save.
Good morning and god bless you so much well i need a favor can you explain me how to correct while im recording my own song for example if i record any note the sax bad in one of the chanel how to correct just the part bad and go on recording above the same sax whithout afecting the part good i need to learn how to correct only the part bad your video they are very good and help us so much thanks for been so kind god bless you

Not yet - hopefully soon. I'm thinking there might be a way to set up quantizing BEFORE you record. Just a guess, but I'm looking....
Buenos dias ,hay un video explicativo,de las funciones en español de Tyros 5 ,quiero comprarlo !! Saludos desde Argentina.
David, thank you very much indeed for these videos, they are extremely helpful. One question: After you manually record the different tracks, how do you quantize them? Keep up the good work!
good ? Mitchell have ever got the answer? I have the same ? also.
I was recording on a hard disk recorder I must have done to many redos on one of the songs and it locked me out now it keeps saying disc error and when I try to transfer my created song from hard disk recorder to usb it says file is full? Can you please suggest what I should do?
Thanks
A question, can you mix the tracks? Thank you for sharing!
I use my Tyros 5 to write original songs. I usually just find a style that fits my melody and lyric to do that. But if I were to use the method you show here, I would need to use this process for the entire length of my song, correct? Meaning, for instance, the drum track would need to go the entire length of my song, right? Non-the-less, your videos are very informative and much appreciated. Thanks
Thank you for the information. Is there a way to go back and fix a measure that did not go right. Also can you add on to a song at the end. I am used to doing songs in sections.
Laura Roorda is it possible OVERDUBBING at the same track? Couldn't find it anywhere
Hi on tyros 3 I did an audio recording including vocal. I can play back on the hard drive hearing both music and vocal. how ever when I transfer to usb the vocal is missing. can someone help me how can i transfer the music plus the vocal recorded? Thank you
Hi Rahim. It occurs to me you are probably saving the MIDI file to USB instead of the audio WAV file. Get the audio file on screen then save that to USB,
John Traves ,
Thanks for the clarification.it works now.😊👍
How to create own rhythm using time signature 5/4?
PLEASE HELP ME OUT! I couldn't find out HOW TO OVERDUB on a specific track. Let's say I am recording drums on the first track and playing first kick and the cymbal and stopping the record. Than I want to record the snare over the kick and cymbals it deletes kick and cymbals when I try to record again. Couldn't find anything on the web. There must be a way to OVERDUB!
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME???
Couldn't you record the snare on track 2 then play them together?
hello, do the Tyros 5 supports mp3 format?
Is there a way to loop each track?
