- After years of service, my Giant Boulder L Black had retired. Therefore i decided to hunt for a new MTB. With the recommendation from a staff in 99 Bikes, i bought Merida Big 7 10.
In this episode, I'll talk a bit basic spec of my new bike as well as showing you some basic test of my new bike.

That hill you stacked it on, I have been there, it is very very steep and the video doesn't do that hill justice. That was a good laugh

I picked up most locations, but where was the gravel bit next to the oval at 3m50 mark?
It is a small gravel part between arndell Park and federation trail near forsyth Road. One of the entrances is just next to the bus stop on forsyth Road next to arndell Park.

And turns out that the squeaking sound you hear is a common problem indeed with this bike, based on all the reviews I've read. Did you end up getting that fixed?
With gold membership with 99bikes.
I didn't fix the sound. A lot of people tell me is kinda common thing on disk brake.

Nothing happen to my Road bike. I have too bikes all the time for different terrain.
I wanted to ask a few questions.
1. How tall are you?
2. Is the bike size small, medium, or large?
I am 174cm and I think I need a medium size bike according to 99bikes (bike size) chart

For entry level, casual ride like green or blue is okay. Not recommended on black Diamond track.

Does it have good suspension
Contains front suspension. It does the work for entry level rider. But I'm not sure for higher level as I haven't try to go on proper mtb trail.

Basically they define this as entry level based on the price and the general components are known as entry-level components. Hopes this help.
It's only 21 speed, has a 3x front cassette and has mechanical disc brakes
