guys any of you learning korean ...how did you guys started like yt videos or website
I started with Billy go's beginner korean course and I used the howtostudykorean website sometimes. Right now I like to watch a channel called comprehensible input korean I watch the gameplays but he has beginner series too. Hope this helps at least a little. Good luck with your studies!
@@daniele9626 ahh!! thankyouuuu so much :)
i started learning korean in two "ways" (i started learning 3 years ago, stopped and now I'm restarting the basics)
two years ago i started with a video about Hangul, and then i did all the level 1 of talk to me in korean. (and i started looking for some more free resources and now i just have so much that I don't know what to use.)
now I'm using the book vitamin korean 1 (pdf).
how to study korean.
naver dictionary.
using songs to get some vocab + grammar topics.
another channel that explains grammar topics in korean.
i like to watch arirang tv begginers serie too.
naver webtoon
and sometimes i search for some things like learn Korean with webtoons or songs because has some videos of lessons with it.
and i got in the Korean learners group in everskies just for some fun.
and that's it
(sorry for being that long, or for being too hard to understand english is not my first language)
and if anyone wants some free resources i could give
im starting to learn korean and the app teuida has been quite helpful
i got the ttmik pdf and printed it and im learning from it rn
for all of those people out there thinking "oh how's watching videos in my target language going to help when i know NOTHING in that language ?": i learned a language to like b2 in 6 months just by exposing myself to it.
I had just moved to that country, but my ego would not let me tell them i couldnt speak the language and so the only words i knew were yes and no. I figured out the language just by context and my knowledge of other languages (you'd b surprised how many common words there are in languages even when they don't have the same root language)
I used the main words in the sentence that i knew from context/guessing using other languages and the tone of voice to answer (you do need very small knowledge of the language for this though)
Try not to put on subtitles in a known language, because then your brain completely blocks out the sound and focuses on reading, instead try putting the video in that language and also the subtitles because then u have an auditory and writing element to help you make links to words you might know (eg, when u hear a word, it might not sound like something u already know but when u see it it might look familiar ! and vice versa)
if this is too hard for you because of your limited knowledge of the language, then try using audio in your own language but subtitles in that goal language because subtitles tend to be focused on a lot more by ur brain and then if u dont know a word then u automatically start searching in the audio for a potential defenition even from context !
once u have reached decent level in the language (eg b1) then you can finally work on your word order and speaking skills. You'd be surprised how much you will already know from these just by watching things and exposing yourself to the language.
Also when you speak the language and make mistakes that are embarassing, it makes sure you remember the mistake so it is a very efficient way to learn if that is something that doesnt bother you too much or doesnt put you under too much pressure (dw, i promise they'd forget that mistake in a day or two ^^)
that is my ultimate guide for learning a language by context ! ^^
woww, loved your advices!! thank you

YES FINALLY someone talking about how actually good it's to watch content in ur targeted language,,like that one was a huge help to me when i was learning English but don't really understand a bit of what they're saying so it helped me get used to the listening part as well as reading(i started by using translation in my own language than in english translation and now i just watch without the need of it)it's such a helpful tip that i didn't get why no one is talking abt it fr😭✨️I'm gonna use it as well while learning korean,,thank u for ur vid it's helpful for sure and gets to the point directly 💗

I have a twin sister who I'm learning Korean with! I'm very happy I have someone to practice with, but this video also helped a lot :D
Edit: Also! I think another wya to help you learn a new language is listening to music in that targeted language, my dad learned English by listening to the music! (it's not all that he did, but I do know he started hearing English music and shows)
1. Тетрадь (лучше заводить в бумажном виде, потому что при записывании рукой запоминается лучше)
2. Goals(зачем и для чего тебе нужен этот язык)
3. Смотреть видео на изучаемом языке
4. Базовые вещи
5. Дуолинго мб? Учить по программам и флеш картам
6. Организовать (сколько ты можешь потратить времени на изучаемый язык)
7. Учить новые слова каждый день
8. Смотреть детские мультики
9. Учить грамматику
10. Произносить новые слова и найти партнёра для изучения изучанмого языка

Can we learn 2 languages at the same time or its too difficult ? I wanna learn korean, but in my high school i learn spanish (but have 0 base bc i didnt have spanish in my middle school, i only had german and italian, so the result is that i don't know anything about spanish, i only know italian💀) and at the baccalaureate (final exams in french?) we have a Spanish test, so i want to try to catch up on everything I missed in spanish but i also wanna learn korean
For now all the languages i can speak are vietnamese, french, english, and a bit of italian
I'm sorry, but how did you rotate the screen in duolingo? I can't do so😢
Im trying to learn japanese too on my own!
when you start learning new language ,because you wanna watch movies and cartoons in original , it's bad idea , because you lose motivation , I recommend find more goals , for example : speak with friends (who speak this language )study to this language , work. its glow up your motivation (English my 4 language sorry my mistakes )

I'm kinda in a strange situation and I need some advice. So I grew up speaking Russian however my reading and writing skills are very bad. I can read but very very slowly and my writing is very grammatically incorrect. I want to learn Ukrainian because my relatives speak the language and I want to pass the seal of biliteracy for it. My mom speaks Ukrainian and I can understand 70-80% of what shes saying, however I cannot speak it myself. How can I approach these two languages and improve all areas in them?
Hii, I think with Russian you should definitely:
- Read every day even slowly, I'm sure if you do it you will get faster quickly :) I think this will be very useful for your grammar skills, you can look for a little children's book as I said in the video, they are way much easier to understand!
And with Ukrainian
- I was in the same situation with English T-T, what I did was just start speaking, even with mistakes, you can ask your mom to correct you, don't feel shy and start with the most basic vocabulary. You will realize how much you have improved over time.
It takes time so don't be discouraged :) hope it is helpful
@@paulagabriela-ganoir thank you so much!
So,i learn vietnamese and i can speak it but not well or fluent,i should learn the vocabulary,i want to learn fast a verb,do you have any tips?
hii, digital flashcards have been definitely the most fast and effective way to memorize new words for me :) I would recommend you to watch videos or read articles with useful vocabulary in Vietnamese and create flashcards sets for all the new words you find. If you dedicate a few minutes everyday to flashcards review, I’m sure you’re gonna improve so muchhh :))
