The problem with this man (Mr. Rahul Shrivastava), he is a journalist with Interruption actions. He is even not letting him talk completely. He is interrupting to Mr. Nitin Gadkari again and again.
Journalists need to find balance between praising and asking some challenging and difficult questions to politicians... Like How does the massive construction work going on in uttarakhand will help nature... Increasing fuel prices... No coordination between the project companies handling excavation of Mumbai... Etc.
I wonder what would happen if Gadkari started shouting out of the car window to every passerby - Oye! follow lane discipline, don't honk unnecessarily!" On a more serious note, what would happen if Nitin Gadkari issued a statement tomorrow that - "We are going to enforce reissue of driving license based on British driving tests. We will invite 20 driving inspectors for each state in India to teach driving to Indian RTOs and then take their driving test. Once they pass through their driving test, then we will learn from them how to conduct a driving test. And once we know how to conduct a driving test, we will start conducting such tests". This will be enforced starting from next quarter (in 3 months time) and by default every driving license will be invalid in 6 months after the tests are enforced and every driver throughout the country will have to learn driving and take this new test in order to get driving license. Those 6 months, all the RTOs across the country will run several drives to train all driving schools on how to teach driving and a driving instructor can become a driving instructor only after they have successfully themselves passed the NEW driving license test and have learnt how to teach driving to their would be students." Would this move be as controversial as March 2020's first lockdown? No idea. But this move would certainly save India billions of dollars and thousands of lives that are lost every single year to accidents on road.

Rahul puts on Seat belt and Nitin Gadkari is confused. Probably his seat belt is inserted from behind him and so car is not beeping when he has not put on the seat belts. And Nitin Gadkari moves around several interviews asking people on the value of wearing seat belts when sitting in rear seats. Talk of hypocrisy!
I am surprised that only few people observed & commented about this. Mr. Gadkari is definitely one of the best ministers. But in this particular instance, he set a wrong example by not wearing the seat belt even after the reminder from the reporter.
In the discipline of Psychology, this is called Confirmation Bias - We tend to overlook things that do not match our expectations of how a person/situation must be. Reminding ourselves of such a diversion from our expectations is painful because suddenly things are not as they were expected to be and that changes a person's way of looking at someone / some situation.
