At 3:53 we are advised not to make travel plans until the visa is approved. But later it is mentioned Australian authorities need information regarding your travel tickets, your accommodations and other items that must be booked for the review. That seems a bit contradictory.??

My mother an Australian permanent resident, is 95 years old and lives in Sydney. She was Hospitalized several timed to her heart problems. I realized that with her age and health condition, there is an urgency to visit her. I am fully vaccinated including a booster shot from Pfizer but, my request for exemption of visit my mother is declined. I can't believe visiting my mother is not considered a close family member as per government definition.

I don't understand why visa processing requires booked flights and hotel, whereas they haven't granted any visa. What about the refund of money from bookings if visa is refused. Also no point of booking non paid hotel bookings for refundable or unconfirmed tickets. Plus there's no airline which refunds full amount of Ticket. This is always a money loss. Ticket and hotel are checked at the Airports anyway. If they ask and you don't have, they don't let you enter. Do you have answer??

I applied for the 600 visa in September 2020. I supplied all documents, asked for the travel exemption, supplied my covid vaccination status. I am trying to get the visa to go live with my boyfriend to see if I want to apply for residency. I still have not heard a word about my application. Should I hire someone to reapply for me or continue to wait? Do the applications expire? Do I need to reapply? Please advise me of the next step.

Just started seriously reading up on it, and it's insane - all the evidence needed to prove a relationship, and overall the documents and health checks. Did you apply yourself or through an agent? @@missleeessentials342 No ticket was needed. i just got granted a visa for my partner . the application is pretty strait forward though time consuming in my case as i was sponsoring someone doing for her. i only added proposed dates and itinerary . added about 30 PDF and JEG documents in my case.
Feel free to ask i fell like i am an expert now. We got granted a 3 year multi entry max 3 month each entry
