Well, guys here is the thing - no matter what soundbar you have, maybe 9.1.4 , 5 , 6 ,7 or 10 it all depends on the input that you feed into. I can vouch for this 100% that the best sound without any compression is still on a blueray or cd when it comes to music - All these other online platforms compressions happens on a big level. If you don't believe me get any original Blu-ray disc of any movie or title you see on your Netflix, Amazon, or whatnot play it on, and then holla at me.

Samsung has been making some of the great soundbars for quite a few year now. I've checked many soundbars and the balance and wide soundstage in samsung soundbars really impressed me compared to other soundbars. Acquiring harman as well as jbl, akg under it really paid them off. But sadly samsung soundbars are very underrated.
I have following u for the last 2 years now and after looking at more than 25 tech reviewers I can say that u r the most nerdy one...Well done ..keep it up 👍👍👍👍👍

Mr Ranjit I think it is thoughtful on the part of Samsung to position the tiny display away from the eye level. I agree that it makes you get up up to view the display. I have observed some reviewers bitterly complain of the distracting effect of displays when positioned on the face side. Please consider this. I would like to know your opinion on this.
In 1.2 lakh I can have a good sound bar as well as a TV also I will save some of my money

@Ranjit, Regarding lip sync issue while using Xbox. Try these settings in Samsung TV. In sound expert settings, change "digital output audio format" to Pass through and "digital output audio delay" to 0. This will ensure that TV is not post processing the audio signals and let q950t do it.
This is pretty loud soundbar,.. I auditioned it, for getting right atmos(virtual) effect you need proportional room, symmetric setup ie equi distance of walls (no curtains, windows) for side firing stero effect.., when interested in such sound bar take your room layout and ask the av/ht expert if it works. My opinion if this would have been in 90k arround then this would have been a very good/steal deal.. As if your room is right and symmetric then this will give you all immersive experience.. And good music as well.. But if peoe are paying that much then they can look for other avr based setup...(wiring issue yes but this setup also need power for rear speakers)
200 % ryt bro....True Atmos comes from inceiling speakers...That's why I purchased Denon AVR-X3700h & Polk RTI series set speakers & Polk OWM3 pair for Atmos👍...
Soundbar with Atmos feature is just a gimmick only virtual sound☹️ nothing compared with AVR & wiring speakers which is Best for True Dolby Atmos👍

I have a lot of issues at this sound bar and still happening at the moment,
1. sound always drop either bluetooth or directly from earc hdmi
2. smart things app dosent connect properly or dosent connect at all, waiting for the technician from Samsung to come 2 days from now, ( this is his second visit) first visit was the technician lock the frequency as it always drops
3. if you want to adjust any modes from the screen you have to stand up and walk infrontnt of the sound bar as the display is on the top ( very silly ) design flaw
4. connecting the bar was has a lot of sequence not just plug and play.

Ranjit, Which soundbar in this segment is offering auto-calibrate option? The sound bar value is around low size, cost and making it easy to operate for users offering out of box music settings. If you want to have more control on the sound delivery, then one should consider stand-alone home theatre system...

please use uncompressed audio from blurays to test audio equipment that supports it like this.
Regarding the lip sync, it's hdmi cable issue. You need to use 18gbps HDMI cable.

Then u hv no option to use the valuable picture quality of dolby vision, that u r paying for.,, DV is a good option for watching movie on BR disk and gaming via xbox Or ps... I want o buy a 32 inch TV and also don't want to go for MI/Realme etc ..... Currently I am stuck with two model 1: LG 80cm (32 inch) HD Ready LED Smart TV 2020 Edition (32LM565BPTA) and 2: Samsung 80cm (32 inch) HD Ready LED Smart TV 2020 Edition with Voice Search (UA32TE40FAKXXL).
Could you please help me to choose. Also you can suggest your preference.

Just go with a yamaha or denon av reciever with elac satellite and active subwoofers . Total setup will cost less than this and more performance.

. Any other issue you've faced with this sounbar for LG tv's . I have a LG c9 tv and i will connect all my devices(ps5, 4k bluray player) directly to my LG c9 Tv through earc and then select passthrough in Tv audio settings .
I belive you are also doing the same . My main concern is that i get full fat Dolby atmos through Lg c9's passthrough mode. Please suggest . or any other suggestions you would give with your experience would be very helpfull. I had earlier Hw q950 t and it gave me lot of troubles , i am just worried that Hw 990 b does not give me same troubles as it is a serious investment.

Upfiring speakers are nothing more than a type of gimmick. For real Atmos effect, one needs downfiring speakers from ceiling, otherwise it is not true Atmos.
How does the Q950T compare with Nakamichi 9.2.4? On the fence of which one to buy?
You may setup Denon avr 1600h wih 7.1.2 native Atmos....it is way better..... please start reviewing amplifiers also 👍🙂
