Yesterday I started practicing with the dagger, and actually thought to my self "Uhm... It's my playstyle, but it isn't that good". Now you just release this video and I'm rethinking my decisions. Thanks man, great videos!

The dagger is ridiculously fun, but I get eaten alive by the modified combo souljade late game too many times to count. Is there anything that can be done against that... Or is it just over? I'm a relatively new player and I've been slowly learning, so thanks for the video.

Hey, I'm new-ish to the game and I have a question about the Soul Break>Dash Cancel>Plink Cr.B combo.
Whenever I try to plink my crouch after the dash, and then double tap B, I just do a normal B attack and the crouch doesn't seem to input buffer. Am I doing something wrong? For example, should I be holding C instead of tapping C to crouch? Or maybe I'm pressing B too soon/late? If it's the latter, are there any tricks to get the timing right so I can always ensure I get the uppercut out as soon as possible? Thanks!

Hi HK! Your guide are really useful, but wanna ask is the soulbreak -> dash cancel -> crouch uppercut still a true combo? i tried it several times on training area and the bot sometimes can still dodge (I dunno if im doing it wrong or its just not worked anymore)
It's should still be true. I tried it just recently 👍💪
when i do uppercut with the dagger my character doesnt go high enough with the enemy. what is the fix?

I noticed that if you turn off melee aim assist, that when you perform the double left click in the air, it doesn't hit the second hit because it won't move forward during your aerial combo. Any reason for this? I tried to do it without melee aim assist but it just won't work.
Jut wasted 30mn with auto aim off, no way without..
DAGGER UPDATE:
I confirmed the combos are still true with the latest update. The biggest change is the parry out of golden dash. you no longer need to cancel like I mentioned in this video.
So aside from the parry out of Dagger Dash. Now being easier. Everything else in this video still applies.
Combo Update:
The [B] focus to dash cancel should be slightly delayed now. Don't do it on the backhand anymore. Do it during the first golden stab. Since The cancel is faster now. You may do it too quickly if you cancel during backhand.

Can you soulbreak into uppercut without having to dash cancel with the latest update? Or do you still need to dash cancel into uppercut after using soulbreak?

I don't get how you cancel soulbreak into normal dash, i can only get golden dash out of soulbreak.
You can't. You have to cancel golden dash to do normal actions out of it
@@HKBobaSorry, i still don't get it. at 1:36 you say i have to hold shift (dodge) to cancel soulbreak, when i do that i get golden dash, you seem to get a dash-sprint animation. I'm not sure i understand what cancelling golden dash means either, you can't cancel a dodge, can you ?
Edit : also, i don't think you cancel soulbreak, but rather the recovery of soulbreak right ? that's what i understand from the video anyway
@@sacha7601 Yeah, you hold sprint DURING soul break to cancel the recovery frames. if you're getting another golden dash. you're pressing it way too late. you have to do it AS soulbreak hits your opponent
@HK Boba You sure it still works ? Maybe i'm just build different in the wrong way lmao. Tried holding dash/sprint on every timing possible. As it hits, as little before or after as i can. If i hold too early nothing happens, any other timing gives me the golden dash. Doesn't even seem that hard on paper, attack > golden dash > soulbreak > hold dash on hit; i don't think i'm doing something incorrectly. Can't do it tho, maybe it's a timing issue, but i didn't even trigger the sprint-dash animation once in training in like 5-10 minutes of trying the same thing.
Edit : I do feel like that cancelling the recovery with another focus attack into crouch is faster than soulbreak > crouch : soulbreak > hold vertical focus > crouch > uppercut. Shouldn't that also work ? It doesn't require any god timing to execute, just mash the button. I don't have anybody to test it on tho, but it does feel quicker than a regular crouch, and i can't do the dash one
