reaally really nicely put together. all the dodges + some extra.
i'm curious if you have any tips on stamina management, once you start combining dodges it can become harder to track.
once you get the feel on 3 dodges instantly... there are times where I will slightly delay the 3rd dodge. Securing a guaranteed extra dodge by slightly holding a blue.. attacking with lights.... if you notice the shape of your Stam bar.. it has specific corners.. and once you reach a corner. That's 1 full dodge. Finding this spacing is critical in stamina management
an actual good well thought out guide about dodges, it's a pain to see so many high level players make half-assed videos calling them "guides", so seeing this video is a very welcoming pleasurable change for once. thank you and please make more guides, these would be amazing to send to my newcomer friends
can do! thank you very much
really good treygo! i watching you doing this on twitch every day!!! soo insane move
This guide is very polished and well explained. I'll be implementing all of this into my combat game sense to become stronger 💪
Well done, much love brother!
New to the game on ps5 but already got 300 hours in. I didn't know that the camera can manipulate your dodge. Best movement guide automatically subbed🔥💯
The legend!!! I’m labbin for sure good looks!
wow. so i started practising just dodging the ai in advanced training last night to improve my movement. seeing how well youre just dipping straight past all these attacks one after the other shows me how far ive got to go
great guide homie :D
Something that I think is useful is to have the inputs be laid out on the screen as you explain the moves. Something like for weapon swapping, having this on the screen during your explanation would be very helpful.: Attack > Crouch > Swap > Mid-dodge > Swap
For that quick swap musket shot, you can do a similar setup mid focus charge. If you’re holding lmb focus. All you needa do is line up your sight, and input crouch scroll while still holding lmb and it’ll buffer shoot on frame 1 of your swap (best with musket). Tho I never use it because I don’t even pick up ranged weapons >_>
That crouch buffering was very weird for me at first because I’m on controller with default settings but I managed to make progress and figure out how to do it consistently. Now I just need to git gud 🤣 I never knew that was a thing until I saw this. This guide was very well done thank you so much it’s always fun to learn stuff like this 💯
AYY thats awesome to hear! Practice is key!
incredible guide. lots of stuff i never knew after a year of playing, although this entire guide is like learning advanced math lol.
Naraka is endless.. since making this guide I have discovered even more movement potential.... Advanced Dodge Guide Coming soon.
This is fantastic
Definitely the best movement guide NA so far
❤❤❤❤
Très bonne vidéo ❤️
Never knew about using crouch to buffer dodges 😮
10/10 Guide.
Came back here to go back to a few basics i still struggle with. The crouch after a dodge is so hard for me to pull off at controller idk why
I've made it to Asura and I didn't even know about half of these. Definitely puts things into perspective how high the skillcap in this game is
❤❤
Yeah trios in asura is all about risk and resources management. As long as you hit your ult you will hit Asura
Although this definitely looks like a nice and complete guide, I only wish I was better with audio guides lol. I literally had to write down what you said so I could understand it easier, like an order of movements for each tech and such. Even while slowing down the video, the inputs alone aren't enough for my dumb brain.
Ill keep this in mind for future guides.
Bruh that's crazy good, gues it's just keep doing it until it becomes muscle memory
Treygo thanks for your dodge guide. Really helpful for me :)
But if i use crouch buffer dodge, I always lack of stamina..
Could you please give me some tip how to managing stamina?
Thanks 😊
Im really out here studying 📖 👨🎓 thank you!
Those are some awesome tips , but i wanna ask if i am not yet good at countering , should i still try to counter ( even thou i die most of the time because of that ) or just dodge those charge attacks?
hands down movement god
That's all you homie!
Thank you so much for this game!
I started playing a month ago, and implementing most of this helped me a lot to improve.
Just wanted to ask you about the "crouching can also be used to buffer dodges" part.
Felt it was too fast for me to understand, even when slowing/pausing the video.
Dodging while holding attack = sliding focus? Is it from running or walking/standing state?
I tried inputting crouch after the dodge, but I ended up rolling instead of cancelling the animation. Is the part about releasing attack necessary for this to success, or it is needed just for the next sliding focus dodges?
Running stance, but as you are holding attack you c to cancel let go of attack and instantly dodge. If you are rolling you aren't inputing fast enough and or you have Auto Run on and need to turn it off
Thanks for the video, it helped me a lot, but it's really difficult to see what you're typing. Can you perhaps show the keys you press one after the other in the top left?
Can we get any info on secondary dodges. I see it a lot on showdown
any tips for how to do the dodge like on 3:07 i just can't keep up
my stamina management is bad and when i try to do it kinda lost track of the enemy or where i'm going
I might as well of listened to static what did I learn? I'm too new I guess.
Lego Treygo
Boy you bout to make me start sweating
thats the goal!
I can't really understand dodge buffer by crouch, is it really have difference between hold attack dodge and hold atack croucn dodge. And how to preform it by holding c to crouncn and dodge for mid dodge or by tapping it. After many try i sought some dis is it right that in attack hold dodge have less i frames than attack hold c dodge
less i-frames.. but faster dodge to dodge setups, thus creating better/longer i-frames
What is the difference between hold dodging and tap dodging?
i dont understand hold dodge, how do you go behind the enemy's back?
I have a question about crouch buffering. I did steps 1 and 2 which is holding an attack dodge and crouching but when I do the dodge after that, my character rolls instead of dashing like how you demonstrated in the video. Help pls 🙏🏼
Come to the stream, twitch.tv/treygotv
I have question about the crouch buffering to make dodges quicker. Whenever i try it i always roll, it happens when i hold in my my attack then crouch then i roll? I play on controller as well.
Not buffering fast enough. And you need to let go of attacks between dodges
My problem is I'm on controller and I'm a visual learner so listening to him explain everything but with the mouse and keyboard showing I just can't wrap my head around it. I feel stupid saying I didn't understand a single thing he did when everyone else is saying that's it's a great guide.
I'd say you're too focused on my inputs. And Not what I'm actually doing. To understand the basis of dodging you need to understand tap dodge (simple tap of dodge) mid dodge ( holding dodge with 0 movement or attack) and hold dodging ( holding forward + hold dodge). Also shut auto run off.
@@TreygoTV what do you mean Autorun of? U mean the hold dodge, leads into a run. Turn this off so u dont Sprint after the hold dodge?
@@Godsane its a setting
I've not played since 3 weeks of release so im coming in with the idea im "New" Since so much has changed and the players are way better, Which would be the most benefit to a new player out of the ones you said to focus on 1st before moving on?
Hold dodging/mid forsure. making a habit of tap dodging will get you killed more times than it will save you
Good fkn food today
😎
The crouch buffering dodge is pretty confusing can u explain it to me in comments I’m on PlayStation
Scale rush is also a huge part of the movements in this game dont you think?
Yes but this is a dodge guide. I have a movement guide with OSKgaming covering scale rushing czcams.com/video/Rduuu7Qt7JE/video.html
I CAN LEARN TO MOVE LIKE THE KATANA MOVEMENT GOD HIMSELF ????
Great video! Didn't know there was so much to dodging.
What's your opinion on melee aim assist and/or lock on? Seems like in many guides, I don't see them locking on. But I hear melee aim assist is necessary.
Keep Aim assist on. You can override aim assist with directions keys (W)
@@TreygoTV Gotcha, thanks!
God that Treygo dude is handsome af
❤
How long does it take the average player you think to learn this. I’ve never been that good at learning advanced movement tricks. Though I never consistently practiced. I’m sure if took time everyday to work on it I will eventually get there.
Couple days/weeks just depends
Hi, for crouch buffering, i tried to follow as the video but my character did lower cut all the time. What should i fix ?
be faster
2:48 any tips on doing that dodge easier? i find it quite difficult i kept on rolling
if you're rolling that means you're not holding an attack first.... rolling is caused from pressing dodge while sprinting, need to be holding attack, then doing the inputs- repeat
@@TreygoTV ooo thanks
How do you dodge at the beginning of a video and keep looking ahead? When I press to the side and dodge, my character turns to that side instead of doing a side dodge
Sounds like you're not inputting fast enough and over holding , I tap the direction and dodge simultaneously. Fast.
@@TreygoTV I figured it out, I just need to have a "fighting stance" so to speak, and then dodge as it should, thanks for the guides
When I try to double double dodge why does it make me roll the second time instead of dodge?
Because you're goin to fast you need to begin holding an attack between dodges, if you are simply sprinting and press shift it will roll
Bro, any chance u used to play GunZ? This weap swap just got me onto it hahahah
nope always wanted to though, naraka the new GunZ
@@TreygoTV i'm just quitting ~20y of gunz and some pvp-mmos to dive into this game!
Naraka take the window of perception to another level here + no need to 650 apm for an average high level game to happen LOL
@@Biellopes9102 peep my newest video
@@TreygoTVjust got me in the right time XD!! gl hff pal
Did he say "carema to direcrton input"? Im new i thought you want directional control and not camera.
Both
0:13 When I use shift tap, it just become dodge + roll. Any advice ?? :((
Nó có nhịp phải tập làm quen với nhịp đó là làm được
if you're already sprinting and hit shift. you will roll.
animation cancelling working in 2024? if i run and crouch i always roll
Yeah, it's cause you're dodging while in the running state, press c to cancel it.
Twitch.tv/treygotv
I don't want naraka to be easier but information like this + combat related tid bits being this scarce is a big contender of why getting new people to try it out is really difficult. The game has all the complexities of your average fighting game arguably more because information is not stated directly, combos in the game are just as vague in terms of figuring out why it's not working. On occasion i've heard people state they stealth patch certain things you could do in a previous patch combo wise. I don't want people to get the impression its a bad game because it's not, Its just flawed and those flaws actively work against new people joining. Videos like this are what keeps the pulse alive outside of its homeland origin.
"i dont want more people to play the game i like so lets gatekeep it and run it to the ground" lol
Bro... From 3:16-3:26 what happened
@@savonanderson5180 crouch buffering dodges
@@TreygoTV so while you input one dodge, you're inputting a second while the first is still playing out?
@@savonanderson5180 so for example, when I'm in the hold dodge, I can cancel the distance in half thus granting a faster 2nd dodge when needed
@@TreygoTV oh ok, and you cancel the distance in half with crouch?
@@savonanderson5180 yes
Good luck doing any of this on controller😅
Wym it's easy
Dude you should really look up what "+" means
Huh
We're the "Low skills people " 😅👍🏼 thnx for the guide 🤓
